Time to find self scanning store me thinks :D
It took me longer to walk back round my store looking for the self scanner than to do my whole weekly shop - I know there is ONE as I found it by accident but instantly forgot where!!!

I bought a mobile phone from tesco last week with the £25 off when you spend £25 or more in store, they lady on the till didnt take it off, and cs refused to give me dtd back, gave me £25 in cash rather than on my card, so took the receipt back (they had not written on it)yesterday n got another £25 back on my card - a bit sneaky of me really but they she ould have give me dtd in the 1st place!!
This happens a lot at xmas with the offers the till staff have to take off at the checkout - try n find someone who's only just started!!

did ya get double the DD on the 2nd time ? I HOPES YA DID !

They're in the freezer section. I haven't found any 1p ones but several people readily found them a few weeks back, and by all accounts they are still about.

Am I to presume that they are not marked up at 1p?

They were in the freezer cabinets with the frozen ready meals. It's only the mediterranean rigatoni that goes through at 1p There were still some at Yeading if anybody's in the area.

I got mine from the freezer clearance section in one store, but others that I've seen have been in their usual place. Other two varieties had full price SELs, the 1p one didn't have any SEL.

I think I am right in saying the Jean Christophe is part of the Findus range. I spent ages hunting around my Tescos, and finally managed to spot some - but non of the reduced stuff. The ones I found were the lasagne, and a fish dish, both scanned at £2.99.
If I get to the mega Tesco this weekend I will double check there.
    Re the £25 off phones.
I never managed anything spectacular with R&R, but managed to get a phone earlier this year, where the £25 discount didn't come off.
I was refunded the £25, and when I queried shouldn't it be DTD, sa looked disgusted with me, then he phoned some higher authority, who told him yes he had to pay me £50. He tried to explain that he had already refunded me £25, but obviously Tesco gods and sas don't communicate well, 'cos he ended up giving me another £50 on top of the original £25 he had just given me.:D
He was so annoyed with his boss on the phone, that he also forgot to mark my receipt !!
I didn't have the heart to abuse their generosity, so I kept the phone - or rather gave it to my nephew as a birthday present.
How nice am I  ?
