I was in the queue at CS to add money to my TPF card and the lady in front of me was pointing out an over charge on items that had been reduced. I'm quite a shy person really but wanted to let her know she should get DTD back (would have been over £6). I didn't want her to think I was poking my nose so I started off with "Oh I've been overcharged on reduced items too before...it's a pain isn't it?" Thinking I could then lead into "...make sure you get DTD back". I didn't get that far though because she told me to 'shove off and mind my own business!' She left with just the single difference paid. Cow!! I was only trying to help her. Last time I do that.
  • Hi there
I had an extra points if you buy a DVD, so bought Charlottes Web this week as an extra Xmas pressie. It had a big sticker on it saying £4.
Only checked my receipt as I was unpacking the non-food the day later and I had been charged £8............
Too it back, no quibbling as it still scanned as £8, got DTD.

Managed to get the new Harry Potter DVD for £2 today - it may have been posted before, but the glitch is still working.

It costs £14, but on offer for £8 if you spend £30 in store. However the discount relies on the till operater pressing a button to activate it. I put the DVD through first at the front of a big shop and think he must have forgotten about it by the end. The receipt still showed £14, so I was refunded £12 (i.e. double the £6 difference) with no quibble at all by Customer Services although she did groan "not another one", so it must be happening frequently.

    Good luck to anyone else.

Saw this being given, so went back to jot info.

    Yellow/black SEL £3.99, goes through at £4.99.
There are 2 other G&B items and all appeared in several areas: Christmas/seasonal, confectionery, aisle end features - I noted jumbled SELS for all.
