Tesco brand mint sauce is retailing at £0.03 online at present. Don't know if this is correct or not but I've bought a dozen to use the jars for homemade jam and marmalade. It's cheaper than buying the empty ones let me tell you!
I agree - did the same thing after xmas with jars of pickles and cranberry sauce for 1p.0 -
British Beef Sirloin Steak on offer for £11 per kg instead of usual £12.87....all packs marked at old price.
DTD or even a refund of overcharge refused on the basis that " oh it's not the same thing - they must have run out of stock and put these in instead".
"So it's false advertising then?"
"No, cos it doesn't go by weight but by price. The special is for packs of meat all marked £11" Yea right.
Head office agreed with them as always so will have another go first thing in the morning!0 -

but what do Tesco do about it if anything?
