The Harry Potter book for half-price i.e £5 (if you spend a total of £50 in store) offer is not working in my local store! We had to "Train" the duty manager on their current policy as he couldn't seem to see that DtD made it "free" like the old policy! :p

Check your receipts carefully if you have, or are going to buy it!

Hey, I just wanted to ask a quick question about this, before I go trying any of this out. Am I correct in thinking this is what you have to do.

    1. Find an item on here that is misspriced. for instance SEL says £5 and it scans at £20
    2. Pay for the item
    3. Look at receipt, fake a "omg!" then go to customer service and complain?
    4. Demand double the difference - do you get to keep the item?
    5. Where can I find a copy of the TnC that say I'm entitled to DtD?

    1. yes you can also fnd products you self (check your reciepts all the time)
    2. yes pay for the shopping as normal
3.you dont have to fake anything take your reciept to cs and say upon checking your reciept you have been over charged( i wouldnt really complain though)
    4. i wouldnt demand anything its not nice or polite
5.you're not really entitled to anything, but their policy which is on every checkout till and by customer services states that if you are overcharged they will reimburse you with dtd

    Lemon and garlic chicken

do I need to say the rest?!;)

SEL £2.99, charged £3.99 in case you haven't got this chicken before...although not sure how many people haven't as it's been wrong so many times over the years, it's unreal:rotfl:

I automatically look for this now every time I go in, although I've only actually had a free chicken once - very few misprices ever get past my Tesco.
So the over charge is £1 so you should get double the difference ie £2 back so your chicken is £1.99 - is this right?

Not as good as free plus your money back but at least it means minimum thinking and cooking time.

I thought that I'd found another one today....

Pan's Labyrinth DVD. SEL: £11.97, but £7.00 sticker on box.
    Alas, it scanned at £7.00

The only DTD that I've ever had has been cherry tomatoes scanning for 10p more than the shelf price. I want bigger differences!
