What bar code numbers are not triggering the bogof as there are different head lengths with different bar codes????

Wrigleys Extra 5 pack chewing gum - £1.19 each
Large yellow SELs "buy 3 for £2.50" - all flavours

Multibuy doesn't work - charged £3.57 for 3 packs of "Cool Breeze" flavour gum today.
CS couldn't work out how to process DTD at till, so refunded me £2-38 (ie 2 packs)
15 packs of Wrigleys for £1.19 - bargain!

Just wanted to ask, I bought the new Harry Potter game for my son and I think it was £29.97 in store or similiar. It actually scanned at £24.95 (ish) so obviously things don't add up ;) but what do Tesco do about it if anything?

As you haven't been overcharged in this case, you can't request double the difference to be refunded.

Just one of the many errors that "slip through the net".

Had you been overcharged £5, you could have got D/D £10 refund.

I bought 2 of the Oral-B Cross Action Compact Medium brushes and the BOGOF did kick in. The Shelf Barker specifies that the Massage variety is not included in the offer, so maybe this was the variety that wirehair bought.

In two different stores, I did get Tesco Fibre tablets - 30s, priced at £2.02. Out Of Date Shelf Edge Label said BOGOF, but they went through with no discount. Each time I bought 4 packs and was therefore able to use a £2 voucher from the Quit packs. In both stores I was initially offered only £4.04 refund, but after explaining that I had been overcharged by £4.04 and was therefore entitled to a refund of £8.08, I got this each time, meaning a full refund and £2 toward my shopping in both stores.

Got my first ever misprice (after months of hunting!) on Sunday but the lady wouldnt honour DTD!!! CHEEK!

The first was in the Home BBQ picnic sort of range, and was an orange jug that fits inside your door fridge. It was advertised 31p and I got charged 92p.

The second was the Imperial Leather Bath ranges that are on buy one get one free. Some of the shower cream varieties were on the offer stand looking as if they were B1G1F but they didnt go through as such

I went to CS, and she gave me the difference back - there was a poster behind her saying it was double the difference, but when I pointed this out to her, she said "No, we dont do this anymore, we just give the difference back!" HOW CHEEKY! It was only about £2 odd so couldnt be bothered with any fuss. but ive emailed tesco this morning to complain.

Today I bought 2 'Weightwatchers' ready meals in Tesco.
They were £2.38 each but flashed with a 'Buy 2 for £4' sign on each.
The discount didn't kick in and I was charged full price on each, so a £1.52 refund.
The CS guy did a refund which showed on the till as £11 odd????? He only gave me the £1.52 though. He had loads of trouble working out DTD and was very confused, said it was the first time he'd done one.
I wish now I hadn't helped out and offered him the total.................I may have got the £11 odd then :)
Don't know if its working (or not working) on all varities, I bought 'Chicken leek & mushroom pie' & 'Fish pie'.

Ben and Jerry's ice Cream - sel said half price, charged full price for two tubs so DtD = free ice cream! Half price offer ended this week but there are still sels on the cabinets.

Can someone please confirm what the rule is on the above now please?

I bought a mobile phone car charger which was priced at £1.24 on SEL but went through till at £4.97. I went to CS and was only given the £3.75 difference back. I didn't query it as I wasn't sure if the rules had changed!
