If WEETABIX is on offer in your Tescos then buy them cos the offers not kicking in.
Weetabix £1.54 and Weetabix £2.17 Offer 2 for £2
Weetabix mini DTD £4.84 profit 48p
Weetabix DTD £2.16 pay 92p for 2 packs of 24
Should be easy to find misprices over the holiday period.:T0 -
I found the One Flew Over The Cuckkos Nest DVD on the shelf for £5.97, but it also scanned for £5.97. Bah!
The items that I ordered from Tesco Direct had arrived at store, but the wrong ones had been packaged up. Bah!
Still, I used two coupons and got plenty of food. And I can try ordering the Direct items again and remember to go through Quidco this time.
So I'm still up overall.0 -

The 24 packs of Weetabix are now showing as reduced to £1 online. In fact, if you add a pack to the basket, it goes through at £1.54, so it looks like that is still the price you will be charged today. However, I suspect that they will go through at £1 each tomorrow and therefore there will be no DTD on these. The other Weetabix cereals on the 2 for £2 offer would still obviously be fine though.

Thanks!!!!
I went on my weekly shop today but unfortunately no DVDs.
Only after reading above did I realise the lying cheating scumbags had overcharged me on my weetabix!
I cant believe Tescos still misprice so much stuff. I only noticed this overcharge because of this board, how many people have seen the offer and been overcharged without knowing.
I actually reported this particular Tesco to trading standards when RnR finished because they were still blatantly mispricing. Nothing was done about it.
Long live DtDs like this which are better than RnR.
Im going back tomorrow to buy 20 boxes and see what they say.0 -
Hi. Someone, please put me straight. I went to a Tesco Express tonight, about 8ish. I bought 2, 'Finest, Crumbed Wiltshire Cured Ham', 'cause they were supposedly £4 for 2, (as stickered, up.) Normal price, £2.79, each. But I was charged the normal price. I went back there, pointed it out and got the difference. I was expecting double the difference but the girl said this finished some months ago. Doubting her, I went up the road to the main Tesco and saw Customer Services but the lady there at the time didn't have a clue; she looked behind at the board with the policies which were written up, but just said the same thing - that I was only entitled to the difference....no, more. Is this correct?0
-
No you are entitled to double the difference.
The express should be displaying stickers around the tills with the info up. My local express still has the refund and retain ones up.
I would go back, demand to speak to the manger, tell them you will report them to trading standards and if they dont budge call Tesco head office in Dundee from their phone.
It is only some ham but its their mispricing that is illegally ripping customers off and their members of staff have lied to you about their policy.0 -
Now that confused me - thought someone had nicked my name until I spotted yours was without the capital "D"!!!!!!!!!Some people create their own storms....then get upset when it rains!0

I've just got back from one of my local stores and the person in front of me at CS was getting DtD on Weetabix. "Well thats such a good offer - thats why I got 12 packs!" CS dragon looked her usual happy self and replied that the offer was finished. I hope the full DtD was provided - the signs are clearly still on display.

I have been stocking up on the weetabix minis, since I thought 2 for £2 was a good deal when they are normally £2.17, so better than BOGOF. The SEL expiry date was 24/07 so got 4 packs today and this time the offer didn't come off, so it looks like they changed the tills before the deal actually expired. So today's batch were even better value as I got the double the difference and they had to give me £9.36!0 -
Hey, I just wanted to ask a quick question about this, before I go trying any of this out. Am I correct in thinking this is what you have to do.
1. Find an item on here that is misspriced. for instance SEL says £5 and it scans at £20
2. Pay for the item
3. Look at receipt, fake a "omg!" then go to customer service and complain?
4. Demand double the difference - do you get to keep the item?
5. Where can I find a copy of the TnC that say I'm entitled to DtD?0
