Me to....I took out a new phone contract for £25 a month the week before Christmas just so that I could get a Nintendo Wii in time for Christmas. Nothing to do with phone or service provider....just the Wii - at least it came on the Thursday before Christmas0 -

its not amended on their customer services websiteThey've got cars big as bars
They've got rivers of gold
But the wind goes right through you
It's no place for the old0 -
Just got my 360 in a new store, and that's got the full refund sign up.
Surely if it was changing, they'd all do it, rather than a few at a time!0 -
or maybe its a trial thing...to see how many reports they get to trading standards in the store displaying the double the difference....?They've got cars big as bars

was the amedment a properly printed board or did it look as if it had been done in store?

PLEASE READ THIS… PLEASE READ THIS… PLEASE RAED THIS
I have this evening been made to feel like a criminal because of this forum.
I purchased an Xbox 360 from Tesco that had a sticker with the price on the shelf of £279.99 but was charged £299.99. I went to the customer service desk and told them I had been over charged, one of the first things I was as was asked was did I know of what I now assume is this site where people post mis-prices and then try and get them for free from Tesco.
They offered me the difference but I tried my luck and mentioned the sign behind the desk. Thinking they would tell me to get stuffed and that I could only have the difference back
While I stood and waited for managers to help me I could tell something was not right and it now makes sense to me, they thought I had previous knowledge about this scam and had gone there with the intention of getting it for free. When in fact I had been searching around for one in the New Years sales and found this one to be the cheapest price.
I had to provide Tesco with my driving licence to prove who I was and where I lived and I now feel that when I go back there (I shop there each week) I will be followed and known as the one that tried to scam Tesco out of £300.
One of the members of staff that came to help me had what looked to be a huge list of items that had been posted on this site and this Xbox was at the top of it.
Tesco has now gained my loyalty for this excellent level of customer service and I will ensure that continually shop there.
I assume that Tesco read these message boards and would like to thank them for honouring this gesture of good will despite what appears to be systematic abuse of it my a number of users of this website. If I were Tesco I would now scrap this policy and ensure that you were all banned from entering a Tesco again.
OK, they are a big multination business but that does not mean that what you are doing is right. Should I have been made to feel like I did this evening? It was human error, have none of you ever made a mistake?
Really don’t know what else to say, I am stunned that you feel this is right.0
