  • I found this website with a fantastic tool known as google, took me less than 5 minutes, it took me longer to find this discussion as the website keeps crashing.

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=money+saving+tesco&meta=

they didnt show me the list i saw them talking about it and them saying its on that site.

Im not even going to reply to the rude posts on here, if you dont believe me thats fine but there is no need to be rude about it. Was I rude to you?

finally, no i did not know the price was wrong, i was going to get it from play.com
    http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/3274399/XBox_360_Premium_Console_Entertainment_Bundle/Product.html

as it was 10 pound cheaper but went for the Tesco price as i could play with it tonight

It really does not bother me that you think I was a troll as i have no intention of ever returning here. I have said my piece and will now leave.

Sorry but if I had a piece of paper on my desk which said check the price of Xboxes as we are overcharging on them I would be straight out there to check the price.(or to buy one myself LOL)

As someone who was a price controller for Sainsbury's I feel it is disgusting that a staff member didn't do their job properly, and openly allowed Tesco's PLC to overcharge a member of the public.

If HO need to use this site to identify misprices then so be it, but at least provide staff the opportunity to check those prices. That way we would not even be having this discussion.

I bet constantine didn't get hit for any xboxes today?
I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THERE WAS A LIST STATING THE MISPRICES AS SURELY THAT LIST WOULD BE GIVEN TO THE STAFF WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHANGING PRICES AND AS SOMEONE ELSE QUOTED THEY WOULDNT MENTION THIS SITE TO THE PUBLIC WHO ARE NOT AWARE OF IT COMMON SENSE ONCE AGAIN IM SURE!!!!!!!!!!!!

was the amedment a properly printed board or did it look as if it had been done in store?
it seems rather strange that this would just be in one store...

it was very definitely a home made job, very noticeable.
They'd just made it on a computer upstairs, same font as the board, but slightly the wrong size, and different colour background, and just stuck on with sellotape. It looked really naff, but it caught my eye alright!

Glad to hear that nobody else has seen anything similar.
I think it's just one rebel manager sticking his neck out against a remorseless tide of R&R junkies.

    very well said!

as said previous Allstar why did you not accept the difference? you have done exactly the same as the others that post here (but thay are just more up front about it). If it sits so badly with you take the x box back and tell tescos that you will after all accept merely the diference. No? why? because it feels damn good to have the xbox for nothing doesn't it?
BTW I have never done a misprice jaunt because I have never found one or had the guts to actively look....but good on the ones that do I say!

That was, unfortunately, the impression you gave. However you can always set up another account which will wipe the slate clean for your next visit.
    Can I help?
