Sharkmark - you are wrong about TS. They will always back Tesco up with an OOD sel. All it is classed as is 'misleading' ie making the customer think they are going to get the item at that price stated, but the store does not have to honour it. Phone TS and see. It is what I say to everyone who think TS will back them up in this case. I think once you get the experience of a few 'knock backs' from Mr T you will change your point of view.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0

Hi there, right I am being totally blonde and as I am new to this what is RnR?0

wireframe wrote:well, the website says:
"Xbox 360 Gears Of War Bundle £284.97"
The SEL said £297.81, and when I took the pack to the CS desk, they brought out an Xbox Pro console out (£279.97), and told me to get the game, which she scanned and added £37.97 to the price. Which came to a grand total of: £317.94
Which is way above the £287.81 on the shelf (bundle price).
NOTE WELL: This may not be a reproducable R&R, but operator error.
As this is a cashier error and you have not bought the actual bundle this is not an overcharge.Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -

Are shareholders aware of the issue? Do they realise Tesco have 'given away' £*,000 of MP3 players in 3 days? Im a shareholder and hence im 'bothered'Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -

rdwarr wrote:It's insignificant. Tesco's profits are over £5.5m per day. A few thousand on R+Rs doesn't make much of a dent at all.
In the grand scheme of things (ie: Tesco taking £1 of every £3 spent in the UK! ) it may seem small but it is still an issue - I recently got a list of products the company had 'given away' due to R+R and it was a significant sum. But before all the 'Well Tesco should sort their prices out' - Please don't as im well aware of the fact:rolleyes:Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -
TE i buy an xbox with an ood sel

however i am overcharged on the xbox but not on the ipod
can you tell me how is there any consistency in knowing what prices i should pay for my goods?0 -
Hi,
Can anybody answer how the website prices stack up against the store prices?
Are they ahead of store prices (ie store prices to be altered to match website), are they behind store prices (ie store is correct and website will be changed) or are they just plain different.
I'm asking as I've seen an item I want and it is higher on the website so I want to know if I should keep checking the stores for possible misprices, the stores currently have SEL at a lower price and scan correct to that SEL.
PS The XBOX 360 premium is lower on the website, does this indicate another round of free XBOX's?0
