I think that if you've been charged £317.94 and the bundle is £279 then it is an overcharge, go back today and see what they have to say0

Are we allowed to say the name of the store you find these RnRs in ?
or would that make it too easy for the Tesco spies on this site.“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -

Best not to, not only will they correct it (if they didn't at the time) but you may be recognised by your post.
I know of a few other r&rers in my area and don't mind sharing details by pm but I wouldn't post exact details on here just in case.0 -
If you took the gears of war bundle case to the checkout then you should have paid the price for the GOW bundle which is £279. The store screwed up and sold you the premium xbox and GOW game. I would go back, who ever it was above saying about getting banned ignore them, bans are only given out if you upset the store staff or abuse the policy so be nice and explain what happened.
Your possible r+r shouldnt really have been posted as you havnt yet got it and was really a cockup by the store selling you the wrong thing. why didnt they scan the dvd case and not the box for the console? strange.
Good luck with it, I expect you will be offered the diference and they will stop there, I would take it to HO while I was in the store to get is sorted ASAP I would also delete the posts about it you have made as this will stand out like a beacon for tesco to see that your an r+rer0 -
wireframe wrote:well, the website says:
"Xbox 360 Gears Of War Bundle £284.97"
The SEL said £297.81, and when I took the pack to the CS desk, they brought out an Xbox Pro console out (£279.97), and told me to get the game, which she scanned and added £37.97 to the price. Which came to a grand total of: £317.94
Which is way above the £287.81 on the shelf (bundle price).
Or have I got it wrong? Took a picture of the SEL just in case....
I havent actually spoken to CS yet....
I think you may get told you SHOULD have picked up the 'bundle box' with the Console+game included to get charged the £284.xx. They will put it down to operator error. I got exactly the same thing happen to me with another Xbox cxck up and didn't get a good ending. You might get different treatment, good luck.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -

Dont' you know that the new 'buzz word' going around CS desks now is 'NO!!'.. Apparently - according to Tesco - OOD sel's count for absolutely nothing - in fact you may as well ignore them now in some stores. They may have an offer on, they may have a price on, but if the date has expired, so has your chance of an RnR, especially a 'biggie'. They way to go will be through glitches or pricing errors on regular sels'.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -
i wish people would be more supportive and positive go for it0

If you are referring to my post, I am stating it as I am finding things happening in stores. I will admit to being a serial RnRer and so have had experience of the good, the bad and the very bad. There are lots of newbies on this thread coming up against the new hurdles that Tesco are throwing up at present and I just wanted to warn people that it is NOT as easy and plain sailing as it is sometimes made out to be. That is where the dissapointments come in. By all means go seek your misprices, I certainly will do, but, only on the things that will save me a headache at CS. Tescos time will come when they are pulled up with their self-administered rules and policies and I can't wait to see the day but, until then 'consumer revenge' is my war cry.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0

you may have been unlucky in some stores but i wouldnt really say its a buzz word and i wouldnt give tescos the ammunition to believe it either. of course they read these threads and if they think they can win by ood sels they are wrong. you only have to prove it with other products that are still selling at the given price on ood sels0
