  • Hi guys - wanted to know what success you have had at returning goods to Tesco which are branded as Tesco goods (e.g the Tesco Finest Phones worth £150) and how receptive Customer services have been to idea of exchanges without showing a receipt...any tips/success?

Just back from a few days holiday, think I should pass my Regards to Mr T ...

    1) My daughter is delighted with the 107 Technika Hifi thing that she received free and gratis from Teska!

    2) My family enjoyed the Moet on X-Mas day!

    3) My family also enjoyed the Moet we had on the our wee holiday!

    4) We look forward to tanning another bottle on Hogmany (hint hint)

    5) My son enjoyed the first XBOX360 misprice game that I swapped at HMV.

    6) We swapped No.2 XBOX360 misprice game for Wii CODIII at another HMV today, so again thanks for a virtually free game.

So, after reading this and filtering out the TE crap, looking forward to a free XBOX 360 tomorrrow, after putting my fellow employee onto a 360 the last time! (rolando)

p.s. After catching up on these threads I cannot believe how much space gets devoted to the poster TescoEmployee:mad:

Would HMV swap ps2 lego, I'd like to swap for Raving Rabbids Wii, obviously I'd have to pay the extra. What do you say, won't they ask how do you know it was bought from there.
  • Always tricky with products as could have been bought anywhere.. no proof bought at that store... but usually a smile and perhaps I could talk to the manager if met with a no usually swings it.

I have a friend who works for HMV and at this time of year they relax their refund/exchange policy - You should be able to exchange the title as long as it is in perfect condition.

I doubt whether its in perfect condition if it comes from Tesco !, i've seen how things get chucked around in the warehouse, or the dot com drivers who leave the frozen stuff in the chiller
  • Hiya,
Fairly new to all this, but was in Tescos today, and noticed the £20 off when you buy a xbox 360 and a xbox 360 game - purchased them at the electricals and discount did not come off. When i asked the guy about a refund as per their policy on the wall, he went and checked with his manager who became really aggressive, practically accusing me of stealing and exploitation, and would not give me a R&R - asked him to phone CS which he went off and appartently did, but would not budge on the R&R - any ideas if i should pursue with head office ? - the guy really upset me too ! - wouldn't have minded but i did actually want the console, until he started getting nasty ! ended up getting a full refund and leaving empty handed
    Thanks
