Can anyone help me please.
I've heard talk about returning the items you've had R&Rd for an exchange. I have an Indy boxset i'd like to exchange for other things if poss.... What is involved here? Do you need a "golden" R&R i.e. one where the refund hasn't been marked on the receipt? or can you take back the boxset for its actual value with the receipt even though it has marked on it that you've had the value refunded?

My local store uses barcodes on the receipts - does this mean they will know it has been R and R'd when they scan the barcode on the receipt?
Or, is it better just to do an exchange without a reciept?
anyoneI'd like to know too, have searched but no joy, ta

Yes, you can take it back anywhere, the only way they "could" trace it, is if youve used your clubcard....but its only a possibility.
All stores use barcoded receipts, but it doesnt tell them that you have already had an RandR on it....the barcode relates to the ClubCard details.
It may tell HO this, if its ever investigated.....always give a false address and postcode...although try and make it a valid postcode.
If it is marked but has a guarantee bit with it, cut off the marked bit and take it back with the guarantee.
As discussed earlier today, only certain stores exchange without receipts.... appararently its up to the store manager.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

surely you mean the barcode which is there for you to add the points to a clubcard? Its printed at point of sale so would not be used for info, Ive never had it scanned on getting a refund. When you get an R+R they take down the transaction number but I doubt its cross referenceable there and then.
And on the subject of ood sels, dont bother with HO if you dont win in store just walk away , they now back the stores on this 100%0
