I don't recall mentioning they would be 'disciplined' in any of my posts:confused:

No you mentioned they would get into 'trouble' and face a 1-2-1 informal meeting with a note placed on their file - isn't this part of a disciplinary procedure?
  • Hi all just a quick one if you start getting a prob with with cashiers checking prices then just use the self scan tills like i do, anything in a security box can be unlocked by cs or the person left to check we are doing it right :j
this is just here to fill space !:A

I wouldn't normally be an 'I told you so, but TE 'I told you so'.

Right I'm off on a home phone mission yet again if there are any about in Wales I would be grateful of a tip off.

although there are different avenues you must go through before the first verbal warning is given i would say that an informal discussion is the start of the disilplinary procedure
this is not a verbal warning just a way of asking for improvement in work

hi all, can anyone advise please, can I take a dvd back to an express store (which doesnt sell DVDs) for a refund?

If not - can I Get a refund at any Tesco which *does* sell DVDs please?

You would be better off using a store which stocks them if you can. Express stores tend to only accept returns on products they carry.
Who or what was I before you came in to my life
    I am not sure

Hi everyone. My first post - please be gentle. I work for Tesco on Checkouts mostly but sometimes on CSD. I've lurked on the site for some time now and thought it was only polite to introduce myself.

I hope I can offer advice/help etc and look forward to "chatting" with you all.

I've spoken off-line to Aussiebird a few times - she is a most pleasant lady and I have a serious weakness for the down-under accent :o

Seriously - take this at face value from The Dude - she is a genuine lady who was unsure if she would be welcome here as a declared Tesco employee.

She has no hidden agenda other than to offer help, insights and advice.

So be nice to her - sometimes the established Tesco Dudes are subject to unwarranted abuse - this is simply not on - save that for the trolls.

Wecome Aussie - glad you took the step to jump on board.
