I think C4 should 'A week in the life of an r&r addict'.

That VLH site is really boring, I had quick look through it hoping some cs staff might be chatting about refunds but nothing. I could really liven that place up!

    (a) consumers could reasonably be expected still to be relying on it

there you go with tescos selling products that are still being sold at the sel even though it is out of date
if you can compare it to some tescos employees stance that its an out of date sel i am sure you will win
  • Going back a few pages, many people think that when we all got free consoles and currently free psp games and DVD's it doesnt cost Tesco anything, they pass it on to the supplier who is currently EUK who I belive are part of WH smiths somewhere along the line. EUK aparently lable all the stuff before it gets to tesco shelves therefoe tesco claim the refund back from EUK as they label the products. I heard that they pass all loss on to the supplier well most of it anyway so we are not hitting tesco pockets we hit their suppliers. As for the priceing they are cheaper than ALL the highstreet entertainment stores, supermarkets use it to get people like me in the stores, I dont do the grocery shopping but i do like DVD's games and music so I take my mum shopping and spend time checking out the games etc, belive it or not I buy most of my games/dvd's and music from supermarkets as they are cheaper than music shops and some online retailers.

As for the dispatches program comming up, take it with a pinch of salt, a company I work for was reciently involved in a TV documentry claiming that illegal payments were being received. an investigation has been made in to the claims and they have been found to be wrong, the TV company is yet to issue an apology to the people involved, some I have known for a long time.

anyway Im off to bed I have more PSP games to buy tomorrow.

Most of my r&rs have not had price stickers on, and the xboxes wouldn't have had either. So I'm not sure that the theory of Tesco passing on all losses to supliers is true. Only my opinion though.
