TescoEmployee wrote:So you are using one store in the IOW to base your figures on?? Say's it all really. I find your comments regarding staff quite disturbing for a MD of a company - You clearly treat your staff like !!!! if the way you post on here is anything to go by.
I am sorry whats your point? The IOW is one of the biggests stores in the country. If the staff there are so grossly underpaid why wont the rest off the staff in the country be. Hey you work for Tesco so why suggest you are underpaid? I am not having a go at you or other staff members but it is a fact. Try, as I said before, Athens market research. If you really earn enough you can afford it, otherwise get Tesco to pay for it. Once on there you will be able to access hundreds of different sites that research millions of markets. There you can search wages in different markets multi-nationally. Once you have done this come back with an informed argument.0 -

If you read my previous posts you will see that pay structures are based on what 'cat' store you are in and also where in the country you are hence the large diffrences in pay. IOW may very well be 'One of the biggest stores in the country' but does it have a turnover to match? And also i can tell you of several other bigger more successful stores in the Tesco estate. You have to remember in places such as London, Manchester, Glasgow etc, etc, the pay bands will be higher due to competition from other retailers etc,. Also i have recieved several 'head hunting' calls but the pay of other 'successful' companies along with benefits simply do not come close.Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -

I was waiting for that comment - I guess it depends on the amount of r+r's being done really?Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0
