  • I think that the top guys at Tesco actually deserve this amount - They have successful remained the Number.1 Supermarket retailer in the UK since 1992, They are on course to become the biggest Non Food retailers in the UK within 3-6 months, They are the Number.1 Supermarket online site, Continious sales growth achieved both in the UK and Europe.

Why would a pharmarcy orientated company head hunt a Tesco retail manager?

Because you are surely experienced in sales, marketing, Customer relations and/or HR. Your job involves none of these? Maybe unlike any other Tesco employee you are over paid! Why am I scary? What, I managed to use research and back up my answers with proven statistics rather than just say stuff for the hell of it unlike you. Dont worry I wasnt offering you a job, I know you arent qualified. You aren't paid 40+ grand and whether you like it or not you are underpaid and under appreciated however hard you try. Once you are honest with yourself, look at the proven stats (I don't expect you to believe me but stats don't lie) and admit that Tesco take advantage of all there staff you will be much happier. I admire Tesco as a business, they have got to number one by trampling on the little guy but I am glad I am not a little guy. If you are happy thats fine. Everyone should be happy with themselfs and there lives!
  • You seem to be arguing that the Tesco board are over paid. Not seen any evidence yet regarding Tesco staff being underpaid. Although I will not be all that surprised when you dig out the comparisons from some uber members-only super site.

Still...quite what this has to do with miss prices other than the suspect supposition that there are so many idiots working in store, I am not sure.

I am pretty certain none of the underpaid store staff had any hand in moving all the crucial IT operations to India. That must have been one of those over paid people that really matters...

This has to do with Tesco policy as a whole. Sorry if you missed the statement saying Tesco were among the most underpaid in the survey but it said it.

:confused: From me posting on this site you know my job role then? You have no idea if im based in Store, H/O or distribution, You have no idea of my work location and you have (clearly) no idea of the Tesco pay structure. Go and manage your company Mr.MD because by the way you word your posts you are clearly going to be running it into the ground:wave:

Oh by the way im deeply offended that at 3am in the morning a fictional MD of a a company is not offering me a job:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • So we have the following:

*A successful MD of a large company posting on here
*The said MD uses this site to gain R+Rs
*The MD has one contact with a named Tesco store miles from anywhere
*The MD is clearly dilusional, has far to much time on their hands and is grieved by the £23 million earned by the people who made Tesco so successful

    Thank you and Goodnight:D

Thats funny but the store in question was once a store run by a current Director, who still shops there.(He has so much clout he, after a £75,000 refurbisment of the deli counters made the store change it back wasting all £75,000 plus the cost of the changing back) If you are high enough within the organisation or work in that store you will know who it is. i will not say who but again I bet Tesco Employee knows no director. That slots nicely along no research and no proof. Anything else I can dispel for you?

Oh dear - Your 'facts' amaze me, In terms of the Deli counter change this was a major cost for the company whom after converting the counters realised thru CC data usage that they had lost many of their 'upmarket' customers - All counters then reverted to their original look.

Yes from reading on here it is clear you work in a store. You have made that obvious from the start, why try and deny it now? Making stuff up is a sign of losing a battle. Why not be an adult and just say nothing or at least concede to proof?

You failed to dispel any of my points about you - You have just continued to talk about one store.

As i said don't believe everything you read:D You can be anything or anyone you want to be in the world of the Internet - Hey you can even be the MD of a company and argue about it for several hours on a forum:D :rotfl:

Wrong! I thought you knew what you were talking about. The refurbishments were unique to this store and were changed by this director because he didnt like it. Hey if you know who I mean why Not give my his intials, then ill give you his name. You could also give me his forename, surnames and/or initial for both and Ill tell you who it is. Lastly you could give me his nickname. But you don't know who he is, what his name is let alone his nickname and you are attempting some pretty desperate arguments. Not only can I proof my answers with statistics I can proof it with Tesco Directors. You've used no proof. I wonder why?
