The scanning paranoia always tickles me - I know that others disagree and have indeed been 'rumbled' due to price-checking prior to an R&R - alas I remain tickled.

But personally I always price-check - but I also try to make sure that I'm not being paid any special attention from staff or security.

One other thing I find handy is that once I've completed my shop, I revisit the general area of the CS desk and the security bod monitoring the front-of-house CCTV.

Obviously I'm looking for a reaction of 'There he is!' - never had a problem.

Somewhere I've got a Duder guide to scanning - if you peeps want I can publish it again.

£29 but this was the other day not yesterday, someone else reported it scanning at £40. I'm off to try my luck later, hopefully they'll hae working price checkers and as I don't go to this store often I should be able to price check a few items.

This scanned @ £44.99 yesterday afternoon.

It was scanning @ 29.xx prior to Xmas.

Was it the same barcode, someone thought there may have been two items the same but different barcodes, also did this have one of the new red stickers on it.

Same item; it was unstickered unfortunately. But look out for them because you might get lucky and find a stickered one!

It's priced @ £44.99 in the 'groceries' section of The big T's website btw.
