mykw i managed to put a background image on mine .It only flicks on to the picture for a few seconds then says something is wrong and flicks the picture off again. Grundig has never gave a update on this player,its Sorrel that has the update.

Hi imho,

Still the same, cant switch it on from the power ON/OFF switch..I've a feeling it's the battery somehow even though it's showing fully charged, there's not a problem when it's in the cradle, It switches ON and OFF OK..

I have already been on to Grundig about it, just have to wait until they reply.

bruce1941 If i was you i would call them,cause they not much good at replying to emails. have a look on saynoto0870 website to find a cheap number to call.

Everything is OK now..It was probably me not holding the ON/OFF switch down for a couple of seconds..got the hang of it now..thanks for all your help and advice..

Hello,
Out of sheer frustration I am writing this in the hope someone can help me out! I am not the most technically minded but have put the Sorrell upgrade onto the player (though can't see any difference) but now when I turn the player on the screen is lined and blurred. Tried everything to adjust it but nothing helps. Read the manual over and over but just struggling now. I don't want to lose it - I love my little player.
Any advice would be most welcome

bluey when you switch it on it should now say Sorrell. Plug it back into your computer and see if you can find the file you have installed on it, and delete it .It would be in the system folder .or look to see where it is . Not sure if that will work but worth a try.

I have 2 of these players and one i havnt updated yet. The one without the update has got in the system folder,

1kb

Thats how its set out on the player .
The one i have updated has the same folders but not in the system folder outside the system folder ! the system folder is empty .

thank you imho.
Have slight problem that I can't access PC as tower dead and program not on laptop.
I'm guessing the file won't show if I put program on laptop from set up (will give it a go any way)

Its ok just plug into your laptop it will show up in my computer .Windows xp will reconise it.
Come back and say whats in it .I check in a min to see how you got on. Dont delete anything yet,just say whats in the folders.

Given up waiting i check back later .
