Must have been temporarily down - just checked the website and the firmware page is up and let me download the file OK0
-
Not sure if this helps but if like me you have been having problems downloading the firmware (none of the links on the page seemed to work).
Try this instead
http://www.sorell.or.kr/download1.php?filename=1.15K%20beta.zip
It should allow you to save it directly.
haven't upgraded yet but will do tongiht now I have the update.0 -
Thanks a lot guys for the help. Thanks also Mark for emailing me the file.
Do you really speak Korean Zakkieboy!0 -
nodeadfish now that you have the file you really should remove that email address - the spam you will pick up from leaving that on this forum is unbelievable. Just edit your post! Do it fast! There is no intelligent life out there ... ask any goldfish!0

I haven't removed it. It's still there on Page 25, Post #487.
Either way, I think I have all of the versions of the firmware stored somewhere. Though as aforementioned, the Sorell site being down was probably a glitch.
Don't forget to check posts #508 onwards for installation details.0 -
Just done the beta firmware 'upgrade' but I'm suprised nobody mentioned that reduced quality of it's recording.
The only big problem with the original firmware was the jerky recording of QVGA, but it still recorded @ around 2000/2500kbp.
With the new firmware it now records QVGA @ 800kbp or less. This means blocky low quality video (but it plays smoothly).
How can I go back to the previous firmware ?0 -
I should point out, I'm talking about 'line in' recording from external source.
Also the previous firmware versions on the Sorell site are .alz files and not .Bin files, so what's that all about ?0 -
Ok, all done. Just figured out the .alz is a file compression format.
Downgraded to a different version of the firmware....and ......it's awesome !0 -
Can you please let us know which previous version of the firmware you used.
Thanks0
