    Hi,

Mine was working without a hitch for a few months. but now ieverytime it turns on it asks me to format the HDD and some times it just presents this as gobblygook. Now when i connect to my computer it sees it in the usb list, but won't present it as a valid drive so i can update it. any ideas?

Have you tried inserting the end of a paperclip into the the reset hole on the rear of the unit, behind the hold switch? Might be worth a punt when you 've got the unit turned on. Formatting and usb connection might work after that. If that makes no difference though, then I think it's time to send it back.

Same thing happened to my unit just after a month of buying. But it was accompanied by the mysterious battery bulge. It was sent back and a replacement was sent by Grundig. It is unlikely you will get a replacement as I dont think they have the item anymore....most probably a refund...
Though these devices have good functionality, their reliability is suspect and I feel it is only a question of time when more people start reporting this...

Hi, I think it has been removed tbh, a quick translation says:

It informs to Sorell site visitor everybody and it gives.
It keeps the production and the operation of the site which it sees and (week) [khim] [theyl] it is.
This site server use expense of present time follows in operating cost support
from of A/S business owner various minutes which are indicated in the first page it is operated.

    1. The image which is notified in the site which it sees, it forbids the act which other than the site which sees the part or the whole of contents all
file of file, data and the document in different Internet site (home page and web hard type, web mail type back
    doing not ask) it notifies.
    2. The image which is notified in the site which it sees under notifying man with underdeveloped genital organ percentage case (shopping it will drive,) it receives a dictionary permission in different
    site and it wishes.

Would the person that ruined it by having a "underdeveloped genital organ percentage case" please own up! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

As for emailing it, I will have a look, but dont think I have it anymore, sorry
