Loubee, DD lives just off Brick Lane (renting) but is buying a place closer to Columbia Road with her BF and another friend, otherwise she would not be able to afford it either.0

Hello everyone!:hello:
Happy Birthday Quasar:beer: & catowen - yes I understand about xmas birthdays - my DS1 is 29th Dec - but I have always given him separate presents! but agree everyone forgets to come to parties - and you cant have a bouncy castle outside!!! One year I gave my son a birthday party in the summer so he could have a bouncy castle and all his friends would come!
he doesnt really do anything now he's older either - cos everyone usually goes out new years eve! We think its quite amusing when we're preggy and due xmas time but its no fun for those growing up with it is it - aww x
Contrats to Kazonline 1,000! and to MP (3 Stars):T
Had a good weekend, went out for a meal friday nite with some people I used to work with from old job, very nice - ate far too much!!! trousers are bursting at the seams today!

DS2 has got his nursery party today, he's gone dressed as Underground Ernie! its his last week cos in new year he starts Reception Class:T (where's that 5 years gone??)
loubee - im not far from you im near city airport, hopefully we can meet one day at a london mse meet? I like colombia road too, but it gets soo busy in summer doesnt it?
Right better crack on with some work, have a good day everyone!0 -
Well, got to w**k and boss immediately started giving me a list of stuff that he wanted done while he was out this morning. Also gave me my salary - no Christmas bonus.
I know I should be grateful that I have a boss who is generous with holidays and needing time off at short notice but it works both ways. I will change my plans to work around those times when he needs me to come into the office at short notice or even when I am on holiday. What is bothering me most though is that his wife also works in the office but at the moment is only turning up 1 or 2 days a week - if she feels like it. I know that as the boss' wife she should have privileges but I feel that I am just being soooo taken for granted so not getting a Christmas bonus has really bummed me out. I could really do with the money. Rant over. I'm now going to crawl into a corner and feel very sorry for myself.
Congrats to MP on reaching 3 stars."Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

that would be good fun-think Bargain Rzl was trying to organising something for february.
it does get a bit hectic! I always try and go early as possible if going. though my friend did find out that a tray of 24 winter pansies makes quite a good battering ram for getting through the crowds:rotfl:0 -
Hello everyone
Hope you are all having "fun" with your Xmas preparations!!!!!
:grouphug: to all who are having a hard time for whatever reason ath the moment.
Happy Birthday Quasar:bdaycake:
At last this morning the final pressie I ordered has a rrived & so that all finished now & I can stop panicking about it (I'll just panic about something else instead)
OH has a hospital appt this afternoon & I can't go with him as if I lose sight of him Istart to panic as I don't know where I am or why I am there (or even how I got there) I hate not being able to go with him, especially as he is always there for me.
We popped into Tesco's first thing & I couldn't believe how busy it was (with people fighting over things this early). Only wanted a couple of things to take to Mom in the nursing home. We've only got to get a couple fresh items now & then thats it.
We are going to be making mince pies this evening with mincemeat OH made a few weeks ago.
Whisky Dundee cakes all made & ready to go ( thankfully)
Any way hope everyone has a good day :rudolf: :xmastree: :xmassign:Love to save & love a bargain0 -
Hi everyone!
Hugs to all who need them and especially to Joanna belatedly as have only just read Sat's thread. Sorry to hear your news...it's something that many of us have had happen but everyone I've known it happen to [including myself] has also carried to term. thinking of you.
Busy weekend has just dashed past but managed to get lots of oldstyling done and am pretty much up to date even all the Chrimbo pressies are now wrapped:j Having cleared all my jobs I hope to pin OH down [not literally as he'd no doubt wish;) and make some plans/goals for the next quarter so we use our free time well.
A couple of bits not perhaps totally old style but here goes...small person is currently having great fun with this program which may prove useful for those with kidlets/grandchildren in the upcoming hols:

Have a lovely day!

Afternoon,
Just ordered another present - only my cousin to buy for now (and I know exactly what I'm getting) and that will be IT!! I love Christmas, but this year it seems to have been a bit disjointed, and didnt manage to do half the things I wanted to. Oh well, it'll still be good fun. Got the cards posted this morning, going to make mince pies and mulled wine later
Going up to parents on Saturday, so am currently running down the fridge/freezer and writing my shopping list ready to go when we get back (27th). Might book it online to be delivered.
Today, have to clean the bedroom ready for our Xmas presents (wardrobe and bed). I think OH will do some more essay.
Breakfast: Porridge
Lunch: Baked potato, beans, bacon, sausage and cheese
Dinner: Something with stewing steak. We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Afternoon All - hope we are well

I am sadly moved (and worried) about the poor bunny. Please keep updating how he's doingSave the earth, it's the only planet with chocolate!0 -
Crazychik,
My nana once revived a poorly bunny (it was the class pet, and she had it over the hols, death would've brought heartache to 30 kids, and headaches to 60 parents and several teachers!) using an eye dropper and some brandy.
Not sure what the RSPCA would say about it in this age of political correctness, but, perhaps when the time comes, it could be worth a try?
I really hope your bunny gets well!
