actually I think it was more than 4....they were originally listed but seller couldnt see his listings anywhere after 3 hours, so he cancelled them and listed again....

and after his mate did the shill bidding on one...to try and stop someone winning...the price went way high..

dread to think what the Ebay fees are gonna be for it all....

You got someone to bid on an item as you didn't have one to sell. Regardless of the reason, that's shill bidding. Ebay will clobber you for fees on 8 Wiis. Seems a strange way to make money. Please don't try to make your living from ebay.

It's sellers like you that make people wary of buying on ebay.

Soolin coined a phrase a few month's ago, and you seem to suit it pretty well. Do a search for 'TSFE' and see if you can spot yourself.

. Dear oh dear. You really should have, or should've listened at school when that nice English teacher was explaining how words get abbreviated.

    To summarise - 3 Wiis, 8 auctions:

Auction 1: Cancelled as didn't show up in search.

Auction 2: Cancelled as didn't show up in search.

Auction 3: Cancelled as didn't show up in search.

Auction 4: Wii 1 sold to man from Birmingham who paid cash in person. Wii 2 sold to buyer via eBay.

Auction 5: Wii 3 sold via eBay but buyer hasn't paid yet.

Auction 6: Highest bidder was a scammer.

Auction 7: A mistake. Highest bidder was the same scammer as Auction 6.

Auction 8: Relist of Wii 3. As it's already up to £225, I guess you've made some sort of profit from this whole escapade?

PS I played tennis on the Wii yesterday and have injured my arm, so you're not the only one having bad luck.

Perhaps they are away for the weekend, or something else?

What if they did actually intend to pay and end up paying today?

Maybe you should read eBay's rules next time before you list an auction.

Your auction history is going to make you look like a scammer, no one will believe that catalogue of disaster is an accident. Personally I would keep the spare one you have rather than risk further disaster and maybe rethink your ebay career.
