It's no good having compensation for missing your flight if all you wanted was a holiday. I hope they get their plane OK. Let us know how they got on.

I got them to Newcastle without any problems. That flight took of 20 minutes late, but they must have made time up in the air (it's really windy up here!), as it landed just 5 minutes late.

So the have from 19.10 - 20.45 to collect their bags from terminal 1 and check in at terminal 3. Hopefully they'll be running along corridors as I type

Just returned to Heathrow from 3 week Miami/Florida trip yesterday, I felt a sudden gust of wind blow against me as two ppl rushed past me on the walk way.......... must have been your parents Beccles!

I Hope they made it!

Haven't heard anything so I'm assuming they got on the Mumbai flight.

was checking the times on the heathrow boards yesterday...looks like everything went ok...its the return one that worries me, everyday for the past week and half the Mumbai flight has been an hour or so late getting in, which will make it an olympic dash across heathrow to get the last Newcastle flight back..

Had a message left on my phone this afternoon to say they arrived safely, but there were some delays. Mam didn't say anything more, but said she'd ring again in a few days.

Was at ante-natal so had turned my phone off and missed the call
