Adams - an anti-grabbit quick almost

Just off the phone to adams but spoke to the dispatch dept who could give more info than customer care, and i found out that 2 items were holding up my order, one i had already bought today and the other a cars bag, so i cancelled those and the order would be processed today and shipped either tonight or tomorrow.

Today went to adams store to try and get something for my daughters party on wednesday incase order doesnt come and the girls who served my said you qualify for a free gift as you have spent over a certain amount but couldnt confirm what the amount to spend was and gave me a boys scooby doo umbrella:j

I ordered on the 8th also, but received my order today. I am now very happy.

Its the cars rucksack that held up my order but the cars black cooler bag was in stock:j little man has similar rucksack in bob the builder hence i cancelled.

I don't understand why people are getting their items if they ordered after others?????

Sorry, technical brain storm. My goods were ordered on 09/12/06 not 16/12/06.

Glad you got yours Teddy! I agree with dameon tho' that it is a bit annoying when we ordered earlier, esp as mine is still showing as ready to pick!

I ordered on the 8th - account has changed to ready to dispatch today, was previously ready to pick.

my bag was a trainer bag, i spoke to a nice lady at adams and she went through the items still waiting to be picked and there were 15 still waiting, she said that they may send part of my order and send on the rest. but when another lady phoned me back she said that i shall get my order intime for christmas.

i would like it before christmas as some were to be presents and i ordered on the 9-12.
