i have finally got through to someone, apparently they have had another big problem over the weekend and their managers are all in meetings to see if they can come to an arrangement with royal mail for christmas delivery, so i just cancelled as its not going to be here for christmas and will go and buy the bits in town

got a £20 voucher with no min spend for online though

pay by credit card and you'll be fine.

Wouldnt want to risk paying by a debt card at this time of year on a store that may be closing

Got through to customer services, and cancelled my order. They gave me a £10 E-voucher for the inconvenience.

I know i may loose out on some cheap clothes, but i just cant afford to risk it. I am sure there will be lots more bargains in other sales.

Maybe you can't get through on the phone because everyone from this site is phoning them fretting that their order won't be sent and that stores are closing due to idle hearsay honestly! The exact reason would account for their web site being down i would guess :rolleyes:

I wouldn't be surprised if it closed down. I think Adams is over priced for the quality you get. Even Next is cheaper than Adams.
