Just received payment for the first time via paypal for Catalyst, however we are being charged over a £1.00 for the pleasure! This erodes the fee even more.No Matter what you do there will be critics.0

Ive just been charged too! Maybe Catalyst sent it via a purchase payment rather than a personal payment which doesn't incur fees??0 -

I emailed Catalyst and have just had this reply..
"Thanks for your e-mail. Yes, Paypal does charge a fee if you receive any payment for goods or services that you have provided. However, we are hoping that our shoppers will find this method of payment much quicker and more convenient than having to go to the bank to cash cheques."0 -

OOH! Can't remember what company mine was, but I dont want to pay £1 ever time I get some money in, particularly if they are in dollars or euros etc and you have to pay conversion charge on top.
Wonder if this is the new way of doing things then?0 -

Does anyone know what the "site closed fee" is with gap? I tried to do a petrol shop and the station was closed, Gap said they would look into it and if it was really closed they would pay this fee and I have not heard for them since.
I too am getting concerned as there are no jobs at all in my area and havn't been for a few days now.0 -

I was paid 1/2 the stated fee - it took two months and some chasing to sort out.
(Followed it up when they were trying to bribe me to eat burgers.)0 -
