I emailed Catalyst and have just had this reply..
"Thanks for your e-mail. Yes, Paypal does charge a fee if you receive any payment for goods or services that you have provided. However, we are hoping that our shoppers will find this method of payment much quicker and more convenient than having to go to the bank to cash cheques."
In that case I'll stick to cheques! I've ticked the option "I do not accept Paypal"We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Sometimes the way jobs come up is so annoying. Last weekend when I was down in Dorset with my mum, not a single coffee shop or restaurant came up.
Now i'm going on my own, there are coffee shops jobs that require 2 PEOPLE - GRRRR!0 -

You can always take an "imaginary friend! If you are on your own, you could try to mention to the barista that you are being joined by a friend but they have not arrived yet.

Question: Is Mystery Shopping profitable when you look at collective activity. If so, what are some ball-park commission ranges?0

I used to like ESA but I've only done two jobs for them this year and one of these was a post drop. Their fees are laughable, especially if there is any travelling involved.
But I do need to give some credit to RE. Had three phone calls recently about jobs they were trying to cover. They quite happily increased the fee every time for the jobs involved. 3X, 3.5X and 4X the original fees. Without any argument. I think they might be sneaking ahead of ESA.
haha did you get a call about games in gala they added a good fee so Hubby picked it up!0 -

In other news, just back from a trip to Dublin by rail and sea which was fun. Didn't do much work there but did eat for free a few times which helps...0
