OMG! ESA are doing their calls today to beg people to do visits. So be warned! I didn't bother picking up. I can just imagine them saying "We will up the fee by 20p if you can get it done today". LOL.

PS. Thanks to the people in my area for not picking all the ESA visits. Just leave them and they will have to up the fees eventually if they want their work doing. I think if everyone does this all over the country, they will have no choice but to up the fees!

ESA have just sacked my colleague for writing too many positive reports. Looks like they will be phoning more and more people to do jobs
  • Lots. And lots. And lots. This is absolutely, definitely, certainly not a get-rich-quick-profession.

Thank you. Glad to hear that! Anything worth doing takes work.

I know getting a smartphone often comes up on this thread - most recently by me last week I believe!

I've just taken up this deal

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3317100

Android phone (Sony ericsson vivaz or samsung galaxy apollo) with 100 mins, unlimited texts and 500mb internet access - 24 month contract. Total price over 2 years including quidco £105.04, average £4.38 a month.

Thought it was worth a punt at that price!

Thanks for that. :) Which of the two did you go for in the end?

Really? Seems a bit strange to do that, I have never heard of a company challenging a positive report/s.

haha did you get a call about games in gala they added a good fee so Hubby picked it up!

Never got that one. Took two in Hawick and one in Newtown. Had a phone call yesterday afternoon to do the bookies in Hawick. Dont have the time, so you might get a call about that. You're probably the only other shoppers within 30 miles. (Though my neighbour does do a very occasional job).

Oh errrr Missus! First it was GaAP sacking people, then RE chipped in, TERN have dumped a few too, and now ESA. Hope they have genuine reasons instead of just dropping people.

PS. Did anyone do an aftershave place for ESA this week? Has their report been OK'd? I did mine on Monday and it's still pending validation?

I'm quite glad I managed to pick up a visit with Tern for next week. Haven't done anything for them since December, but haven't seen anything that I can apply for since then either, as I tend to only shop locally and although I check all the companies when I am going elsewhere, there hasn't been anything. It doesn't help that the one shop that comes up most, my best friend works in, so I can't do it.

Was hoping something would come up after reading people saying about being 'sacked' for not doing any work in 9 months
