Anybody got any opinions on why Gap is paying late again. I am thinking they have massive cash flow problems and are waiting to be paid themselves. I have been sacked by them but oh is signed up to them and I am wondering whether he should bother completing any jobs, he does not do the "burgers" so is pretty selective on what he takes.

They owe me quite a bit for last month so naturally I would like to get it but I am dubious as to whether we will be paid and may have to put it down to experience.

    Hi.

They also owe me a load of money from last month and then sacked me. I too am a little dubious as to whether I will get paid for them or not.

Most sacked shoppers do get paid! I haven't heard of any horror stories as of late.
  • And so the penny drops as soon as you mention a coloured hot drink when buying stamps and staff become very flustered. I feel sorry for them and sorry for me as the queue behind me think I have serious issues.

I was owed money after being sacked and I was paid okay. Make sure your bank details are on and correct, and send an email to the ccounts part asking for a list of payments due for jobs completed. If you have equipment and haven't sent it back, then they wil deduct the money from what they owe you.

I think Gap are in severe financial difficulties at the moment.

Hi, Does anyone know if the pay details on the first page for ESA are still current? I seem to be on a totally different cycle to this? Thanks in advance

I'm going to balance out my RE proofreader rant from yesterday with a proofreader's rant about mystery shoppers! ;)

The number of reports I'm correcting lately where adult people think it is acceptable to write in text speak without any punctuation in sight is horrendous. And do they think I don't notice that they just copied and pasted one awful report for three separate visits.....??!!!!

No wonder the fees go down for those of us who do the job properly.

"i stood @ the counter an the asistant came over and asked me some q's i thoght she seemed realy smiley an nice and i said....."
