I know the feeling. One on its own is manageable, getting home and having to do 2,3 or more after a day of work is more challenging. I sometimes wish for a dictaphone and secretary. Dictating the report would take 5 minutes and someone else could enter it onto the website, deal with the time outs, massively slow transfers between pages, weird elements that fill in N/A on a form where you meant to click 2-3 but actually clicked 0-1 and that'll be a proofreading query if you leave it so you have to abandon without saving and then the website crashes
Some reports are lovely though, I'm thinking the overt Jewellery audits where you can enter results direct onto your phone or tablet. My favourite reports by far are for React. They seem to have a good grasp of common sense so the attraction advertising reports had about 6 questions and a box to write everything down in which was acceptable because it was a low fee job the higher paying jobs have more questions but the thing I like most is that they don't limit the words you can write in the boxes. Trying to fit everything you want to say into 255 characters ala Tns or gr or even 900 characters for abai can be bloody difficult sometime
The reports I like least are excel or word documents because I struggle to complete them on my phone whereas with website submission I can pop on if I have a free moment and do a bit of work. My favourite interface so far is still Helion, it is just so much quicker on the phone than on the laptop.
Look at me waffling on again. Caffeine overdose or what!!.0 -
Sent in my 1st abai report last night, do I presume all is ok if I hear nothing?0

I agree that sometimes less words is harder, especially if something happenned you need to explain. Not submitting or there being a problem with a box you have filled in and trying 20 different ways of doing it before it accepts it are my pet gripes.
Out of interest, what phone do you have? I'm still trying to make a decision over what to get. I hope the caffeine wore off eventually.0 -
Anybody got any opinions on why Gap is paying late again. I am thinking they have massive cash flow problems and are waiting to be paid themselves. I have been sacked by them but oh is signed up to them and I am wondering whether he should bother completing any jobs, he does not do the "burgers" so is pretty selective on what he takes.
They owe me quite a bit for last month so naturally I would like to get it but I am dubious as to whether we will be paid and may have to put it down to experience. No Matter what you do there will be critics.0 -

The note about a "payment delay" was posted on 22/06/2011 stating that payments will be made by next week.
Payments were historically made on the 27th but seem to be by the end of the month now.
The post is so vague that I would assume your comment about cash flow problems to be correct and they are not sure when they are getting money in to pay it out.
On the other hand they say "by next week" which would mean that there is not a pay delay (27th is Monday).0 -

I found that, they ask the same thing in three different ways.0
