There have been numerous alerts for RE today and I have not seen a thing. No fishy shops or posh sarnies or craft shops. I have not done any of them in months and months. Also, the same applies with GFK alerts.

Anyway, the sun is out. Gonna go catch some rays before it chucks it down again! Toodlepip :p

I saw the fishy shops, and a couple of posh sarnies, but no craft shops. :)

what are peoples thoughts on the below, taken from an unnamed ms company's brief for a technology company
"Please note that it is also imperative to watch a demonstration on the big screen from start to finish, even if you have to delay the time of your visit. (E.g. if you arrive at 3 p.m. and there is no demonstration until 5 p.m., you must go back at 5 p.m.)"

I think if they want me to visit twice they should pay me twice, or tell me in advance the times of the demonstration.
Its an out of town shopping park and Id only have a narrow window to do the visit due to other shopping commitments so although im there all day, im not going to take it in case they want me to go back after to see the demonstration.

The job is obviously to assess the demo... you should either attempt to find out the demo times or don't do the job. Many companies have these kind of stipulations.

the demo is a very small part of the overall larger assessment, its a particular member of staff they want assessing, the store inc another member of staff and the po, products etc and they do give the days/ hours they work but not the times of the demonstrations.
It isnt possible to find the times of the assessments unless you go in to the store on that day, and I sure wouldnt travel 17 miles to do that, to have to go back again a few hours later.
Ive completed possibly over 1000 assignments over the past few years, and while many specify timings quite regularly, and other which ask you to pop back 15-20 mins later if an assistant isnt free to assist etc, ive yet to find one that thinks its ok to ask you to go back 2 hours later, for the same not fantastic fee for the high number of questions in their survey...

    any one else ?

Those of you in Scotland may wish to take a look at Tern who have some very urgent jobs which actually pay a fair fee.

I saw those jobs and immediately decided that I wouldn't do them for the reason you state. It's not fair to make people go back for that little fee. Like Jen says, the only thing that I would be tempted to do is get someone else to ring up and ask when the demos are. Even then it sounded like a lot of work! You have to ask a generic person for a recommendation, then ask a specific person, check every computer, watch a demonstration and take a photo. They think all of this will take 15-20 mins??

I did one - 35ish mins. Of course, I did it for no fee at all. Suddenly disappeared from my account. Called them - sorry that store was covered last week. We have no record of allocating it you you. Really? I do. !!!!!!!s.
