If I ever get upto gold with TMDC I would like to do some hotel visits. Do they come up often?

I'd love to sign up to TMDC, but at the moment they aren't hiring for Central London. I tried to sign up for Greater London: Milton Keynes since I visit alot, but I was rejected! :(

Does anyone know what the points do on RE? Do people with more points get jobs earlier?

They do absolutly nothing. They make no difference to when offered jobs. You don't get any bonus when reaching e.g. 1000 points. They are totally pointless.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

didn't RE say that some clients prefer MSs with a higher point count and/or high level of quality in reporting, less releases, etc.?

I've got 2500 and hubby has 1200 but we generally see the same jobs with RE (Except for the obvious gender specific jobs)

I read on one of their emails or FAQs or somewhere that they're not interested in your total number of points, but the average. So I'm not sure why it shows the total instead or the average.

Having said that, I've only got 37 points and hardly ever see anything.

Had a funny call this morning from ESA. They needed someone to visit a high end fashion shop in the West End, ask for a man bag .. in Japanese! To test their ability to converse in the language.
And they know from my profile that I speak Japanese.

So I asked them .. "you know I'm white, how weird would that be that I go into the shop and speak in Japanese" he said "ehm .. ok let me call you back in five minutes" .. he hasn't:rotfl:

Now they actually do mean something, it's the worst implementation of a scoring system in the world though!

The FAQ explains how they use the points system... If you drop a lot in a short time they'll be on you like locusts. They have a new "support" department that monitors the points!
  • I always give a dead address. If they say they can't find it, say its a new estate. I also try and pay with cash as much as I can if the item is not too expensive. How did you manage to get so many visits for the one store? Usually only limited to 1 per shopper! Did you take all the Traff centre ones? None left when I tried to get some.

I only selected one, so it wasn't me I promise! :) I guess they ring people when they are close to the deadline and no-one has taken them.
