I did one - 35ish mins. Of course, I did it for no fee at all. Suddenly disappeared from my account. Called them - sorry that store was covered last week. We have no record of allocating it you you. Really? I do. !!!!!!!s.
Oh no!!! I've not had this happen before but I would be livid. Did you have to wait long for a demonstration? It's hard to know how often they have them, the brief suggests there could be a 2 hour wait!0 -

I'm not desperate enough to pick one of these visits. I think I know which one you are talking about. A few agencies have started doing these visits. I would not touch them with a barge pole. No way hosay.0 -
Are Team A at RE on drugs tonight they seem hell bent on breaking their record for inane proofreading queries. Had my receipt queried three times so on the forth go resent the original and what a surprise it passed. Looking at the times they are putting the tickets on the website it seems as though RE have bypassed India and outsourced all this nonsense to a small South Pacific Island. Query received at 21:10 had the time in the query as 08:10.0

I did a job for RE on Friday, and they still haven't proof read it. Is that unusual?0

Team B are probably concocting a whole list of stupid proofreading queries to bombard you with. I have a theory that they do this to drain you of the will to live so you snap, tell them to shove it up their !!!!, they then sack you, send their client a perfectly good assignment and pocket the fee, thus not paying you and pocketing that too.:beer:0 -
Ugh managed to lose the WebExpress code - here begins the wait to hear from Gap...
Though when I missed a receipt, I got a personal reply within 12 hours0 -

Q: I am being asked for the Reporting Code but didn't print of the job notes. Is there a way I can get it after I've done the job?
A: Try looking at the email that says 'Your job is now confirmed' , click on the link half way down, then you can see the code on the bottom of the questionnaire - it is a 4-figure number. If this doesn't work you will have to contact them to ask for it.

Good luck, I got a reply on Monday afternoon for a query I submitted on the Friday afternoon when I got myself locked out for entering the code wrong (I had re scheduled the job by then to try and get paid for it). The reply said they had unlocked it but when I went to enter the results I still go the error message, I emailed again and got no where, so released the job.
I am expecting my sacking email any day now :rotfl:0 -
From the first post
Oh yes! (I haven't read the first page for about six threads...)
The only problem is: I now get "The assignment number you have entered is not valid." when doing that. That may well be after I tried to enter it 3 times, with a hope of breaking their system... and becoming locked out.0 -

Nope, I had a spell about month ago when I asked the same question as I had about 5 all waiting to be proofread. I am sure one of them sat there 9 days before being passed for payment.
The job may actually have been proofread and it is with the store. I know that with RE some of the clients only have a short time (eg 72hrs) to raise a query after receiving the report and the report could sit in your pending file until then. It's been a while as I'm time barred from all the ones up here but I'm sure the post sandwich place operates like that!0
