Agree with PP on this, no point in phoning NHS Direct, you need to get yourself down the chemist. I buy Scanbran from Holland and Barratt, really high fibre crackers, i have 4 a day for a couple of days - they dont taste that great but they really work - you need to put cheese spread on them to hide the taste!!! Also make sure you are drinking a LOT of water to flush your system through xx

    Hi everyone,

    Hope everyone is well?

I'm another one who has to have the gtt. My appointment is in 2 weeks time so will take a good book with me.

I have had the opposite problem regarding weight gain as at 26 weeks I am half a stone lighter than before I was pregnant, mainly because of the ms and having very little appetite due to the nausea :( flump is growing well though and the midwife is not concerned :)

We had a 4d scan on Saturday and found out we are having a little boy, which was a complete shock as we were convinced flump was a girl! Lol :) need to hit the shops as we had been given loads of clothes but they are all pink!!!!

Having a rubbish week this week as my cat went missing on Tuesday and still isn't home :( I'm very worried about her and have been struggling to sleep :( feeling very stressed and my sickness is back with a vengeance :(

Hope you're all having a better week xxx

Had my 20 week scan yesterday, little !!!!!! wouldn't stay still for any of it! Doing somersaults and all sorts! I've got the GTT too because I had PCOS, but not for a few weeks yet.

I hope she comes home soon :( dont give up hope. My cat went missing for a month once, when he came back his whiskas were all singed (sp?) and he smelt of smoke, but he was ok!
Got my fingers crossed that your cat turns up soon xx

I feel like I am constantly asking OH to do stuff and feel a right nag but I am really struggling.. he sat and watched while I vacuumed half the downstairs earlier... then he gets arsey when I complain I am in pain..

Pigpen, noooooo dont go away and feel rubbish by yourself. It sounds like you have every right to be feeling down- you are having a hard time of it all round with a lot on your plate. I'm sure i wouldnt have coped half as well as you are doing.

I'm sure i can say for everyone, that we are here for you to have a moan and unload too. We all have crappy times, and you are so helpful with your info and support when we need you, its the least we can do to be here for you too!

Wish there was something more i could say to make you feel better! Chin up lovely, you really are doing great. I'd offer you a hug, but i know you arent the huggy type, so i'll send you a postive vibe instead...

Hi everyone, hope everyone is well,

mancbird - I hope you're kitty turns up soon, my friends cat recently returned after 6 mths! They think someone had been feeding him. We have two cats but they are too lazy to go anywhere!

pigpen - Have a good old moan it will make you feel better to get it off your chest. My OH is useless as well, he just asked me if I wanted to help him wash the car, this is after I have cooked him brekkie and done a load of washing - unbelieveable!

I'm quite chirpy today as we have booked a holiday for August :T Its something to look forward to having spent the last 2.5 mths with my head done the toilet :o

I think I might laze in the garden this afternoon as the sun is shining!

Hope you all have a good weekend xx
