Morning all. Both boys at school but walking there and back - 10 mins each way - nearly killed me today lol! Painful BH's, stitch type pain, back pain and SPD. Lovely!

Blue Monkey picture your child as a baby, school age, teenager, married man, 40 year old applying for an executive type position, old man etc. As long as the name you pick suits all those it will be fine! My friend likes girls names such as Trixie and Lottie for her little girl due later this year but I just can't picture someone with those names being taken seriously when applying for a job lol! Please share what your friend called her little boy - we are still struggling for a name!

I am eligable for SMP. My worry is arguments I've had with my work before- where they had the wrong contract details in their system for me, and swore blind that it didn't matter what I signed, their system is correct. I'm not naive, so we had a nice argument for a while.
My worry would be that their system is still incorrect, and I don't get paid- I don't even think they have a job code for maternity on their pay system!

I've told DH I will use the baby if I have to. Tetchily woken up, driven down to our head office, and I'll happily sit in the centre with a hopefully screaming baby until they sort it out.

I'm twitchy as I've had pay issues before with them, and there's bad signs already.

We have names chosen, but aren't saying to anyone, as someone will dislike. Whereas, if we introduce screamy pink old man bundle no 1 and say 'This is his/her/alien's name....' they'll just have to put up with it!

If you poke them they scream...

Could you get your nice boss on side and get him to stick his oar in?
  • morning all, last "free" day for me so to speak, if bubba doesnt make herself known today, then tomorrow i'm being induced (eeeeek) i plan on being very active today in the hope it'll get things moving, but i doubt it, i've had a feeling right from the start i would go right to the very end, i hate it when i'm always right, lol!
had no pains, aches, BH's, nothing, she's moving about like she's re-arranging furniture in there too :) altho since last night my ladybits have been feeling sore, almost a bruised type feeling, never had that before.
anyway, if i dont get back on today i hope you all have a stress and ache free day and bumps are all happy:)
    fingers crossed for me x
    Skint, but happy (ish):p
  • good luck Twinkle, i hope things move for you today

    Good luck Twinkle!

Winnie, I'm not even going to let it get that far. They're getting another email this Friday, and I will drive up in their worktime if I need to for them to sort it out- they can organise someone to cover me.

    Morning all.

I scrolled back a few pages to see whether or not ecoelle had a boy symbol next to her name considering she had a girl (lovely name by the way) but said she thought it was a boy. There wasn't a symbol next to her name so I can only assume it was a gut feeling that she was carrying a boy.
  • Sandy - Im sure im having a boy even though sonographer said its a girl ive just got a weird feeling - poor little thing if it is a boy ive only bought pink things hehehe x
