I'm not sure I'd be confident enough to BF in public I did find the whole thing quite traumatic with DD1, and haven't attempted it since, but will at least try this time provided I'm not a cripple again... baby's better off on formula than having a mum who needs a wheelchair or crutches to leave the house, and apparently the steroids and BF aren't compatible - and I don't care who thinks that's selfish lol (not that I mean anyone on here by that btw I just feel defensive about it) but hopefully it won't happen again.

We had quite a good day today... went out for a picnic lunch and fed the ducks. Yep, that's as exciting as it gets!

PP I know what you mean about the guilt, I have days like that too sometimes

You've tried though Delain! I think that's the best thing anyone can do, if it doesn't work out, so what?

One of my friends excuse was "I've been told it's sore so I'm not going to bother" You've just squeezed a back to back baby out of your foof and that's sore?!?!

My OH's mum breastfed 3 of hers, one just wouldn't take to it (My OH, there's a surprise) and she formula fed him, as it was best for baby!

I breastfed 8 of mine.. 1 ony for 3 months as he had severe reflux and lactose intolerance and DD5 was only fed 6 months.. she aso had reflux. Ive expressed for prem babies in SCBU and other than having large nips so they struggled to latch .. thrush was THE worst.. it was horrific!

I have a very unhappy baby I think.. I have been getting cramps every 15-20 minutes all evening.. and have had more show.. this slime just replenishes and is disgusting! I think we may have kicked off the irritable uterus we discussed earlier!

And how HOT is it??????? OH is lookng for a jumper and I am burning up...

Spose I should go to bed seeing as I will be up in about 6 hours..

AND.... I want something nommy to eat and we have NOTHING.. OH finished off the decent ice cream and I just cried over the empty tub..

I need a very large dose of get-a-grip!

I woke up really really hot this mormning too!

Funny old weather here though, sort of warm and muggy.

Am off out shopping today as the big monsters are out for the day. Want to try primark for their kids PJ's and a few other bits, like a lightweight cardi and a few cheapy tops for DD1, and maybe some cheapy bits for Squeak so she doesn't ruin her good clothes everytime she eats

Oooh I found a pair of skinny mat jeans shoved under my bed from last time which I could hardly get on at the time, but they were £5 in new look, and guess what? They're a perfect fit now :j so I'm obviosly not as fat as I thought :rotfl: Still haven't found my best next pair though

Yay! Twinkle has joined us boldies, some of us better drop soon or we'll have more boldies than not!

Another night of sleeping on the sofa, baby wouldn't stop kicking and squirming about last night coupled with period type pain and back ache, i'm hoping this means baby might make an appearance soon. Don't think i've had a show though did dream about having one, it was in the same dream as me meeting Tara Banks and going on the next series of Top Model so i'm not holding out much hope that it was a premonition!

Is having a show a must?

Morning all,

I can't believe how fast this thread moves! Its taken forever for me to catch up and now i cant remember anything that ive read

I think today me and OH are going to head up to Carnfunnock Country Park so I can waddle round outside for a while. It makes me tired but I need some fresh air. I just hope the unpredictable NI weather cooperates for once!

I had my 25 week midwife check this week and she was quite rough with my bump - poking and prodding. Not sure I like it!
