Oh God I'm so pathetic, lol. We finally moved into house & OH has been working like a Tasmanian devil but I can't even be bothered to empty one box! Though I have washed 4 loads of baby clothes so I suppose that's something. No tv, phone or web until Virgin come in 10 days so don't even have the excuse I'm skiving - just got no energy! Spd not too bad (touches wood) at mo but trying to turn over in bed when you feel (& look) like a beached whale is getting interesting - 4 weeks to go :( OH not come near me for weeks now & to be honest my randyness has dropped off so not that bothered anyway :o
I'm starting to change my mind about b'feeding though not really sure why - has anyone else changed their mind recently?

thanks bunnyhop, my test first thing on a morning is around 5.6 - 5.8 and its supposed to be between 4 - 5.5

Unfortunately there's not a lot you can do about that one I don't think! I have heard some people say having a light snack before bed can help with the morning number so might be worth trying that. Like cheese and crackers or something? It may just be that your body needs some help with that, they might suggest metformin or something for you.

Went to my final consultant appointment today and had a sweep, to be fair it hasnt done a thing but i feel better knowing they have tryed something, and if nothing happens before hand i have another sweep on the 7th then will be induced on the 10th... providing they are not busy lol

I hope we are all having a nice chilled out day, i poped to town after the hospital and picked up my script so i have all the tablets i could need for a month or so, i had almost ran out... very naughty of me! lol

labour vibes to all that want them :)

    Waterwork queen is off again!!!

and I made DS3 and Squeak cry too... so now I have guilt.

Squeak was moaning for her dinner and I went to get her to put her in the highchair and I stood on a duplo car and promptly went A over T.. banged one side of my bump on the table and the other side on the dining chair.. twisted my right ankle, crashed my left knee (which is my worst knee obviously) onto the concrete floor and appear to have upset my pelvis and back somewhat.

I immediately burst into tears and threw the duplo down the hallway..scared the baby who started crying.. then DS3 came to see what was going on and I yelled at him to pick up the duplo before I binned the lot.. so he (and his aspergers) got all upset...

Dot is happily objecting to being beaten with furniture so other than me being injured all is fine.

I am now not happy and have guilt and pain.

  • My midwife told me she had 'loads of ladies due the same week as us, and all booked into the same hospital as me  100 days to our due date BM :D
Crikey - 100 days! This is very exciting info. However, very daunting as well given that I'm living out of a bag in my mum's spare room and haven't bought a single thing for the baby... Really hoping somewhere nice to live comes up soon, getting really fed up of not having our own space. And I'm DYING to go shopping for baby stuff.

I think the fussier you are the harder it is to have a healthy balanced diet. I used to be the fussiest person EVER. Now I'll eat anything, funny how when I was fussy I was a skinny wee thing. Those were the days....
Snap Gillyx. I used to live on cheese & spring onion and chicken, bacon and stuffing packet sandwiches, monster munch and Mars chocolate  I'm turning into a right heffa now. Was really hoping to be one of those with a lovely beachball-esque bump stuck on the front... No such luck. My bump is quite neat, it's more the padding around it that sucks. Saw my lovely friend earlier who is 16 weeks and almost starting to show - she's very slim so feel a right beast next to her.

I was looking at my nipples this morning as they seem to have enlarged overnight and OH was admiring them too ;) saying "Wow, those beauts will feed our baby" and I had a little internal freak-out about it.

Hypnobirthing nearly sorted, if we go for the course we've seen, it starts on Wednesday... The woman hasn't had any other people sign up (lots of enquiries but no commitments) so will do us a private session for the same price as the group course (£120 cheaper). The woman sounds lovely, so will keep you all posted.

Happy weekending girls, BM :) x

I have pretty much gone with the idea all along that I will give it a try, if it works out great, if not then thats fine too.

I actually read a really interesting article about breast feeding the other day, can't find it now, but was about how breast feeding mothers will be more aggressive towards threats of them and there children.

Something about breastfeeding helps lower blood pressure so in stressful situations you have more "courage" basically to push forward and react.

Was really interesting. I am really hoping to breast feed but I'm not pinning my hopes on it too much as I know it can be difficult for a lot of people, will have to see what happens when the time comes.

Here it is, embarrassed it's a daily mail article :ohttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2032540/Breast-feeding-mothers-likely-aggressively-protect-babies.html
