A few boldies now! Sorry you are having such a hard time WW - back pain is the worse.

Anyone have any experience in elective caesarians? We don't get the date until the 29th September but I'm wondering if they take your preference over dates in mind or do you just get a date and that's it? I really want baby at least a week early as I'm due half term week and it would be so much easier to have baby before half term when the boys are still at school/nursery. My mum and sister would help out with child care should it be half term week but they both need to book the time off soon as days are being taken by colleagues.

Womble - sorry you're struggling so badly :( I really don't have anything to suggest because I'm suffering the same and everything I've tried hasn't worked. I can't afford massage but have had oesteopathy (sp?) suggested to me. Codeine doesn't touch it for me either. Feel free to moan - seems there are several of us in the same boat at the mo!

I've no experience in elective c-sections sorry Kandboys but maybe give your midwife a ring and ask?

They dont' want to know Winnie! They just say that's down to the consultant really which I guess it is. I'm kind of hoping because it's a big baby and my SPD has come with a vengeance they may do it at least a week early. Maybe if I cry at the appointment and say I am stressed as I have no child care if it goes into half term week they might take pity lol!

    Morning girls

    Labour vibes to the boldies.

Womble - sorry you're struggling - I have no advice as I have been very lucky and haven't suffered, but big (((HUGS)))

36 week midwife appointment today - hoping baby is still the right way round and is starting to engage.......... fingers crossed. Had a few achy bump moments this morning, but feeling ok again.

7 days left at work! Woo-hoo!

    xDx
Fear is temporary, regret is forever.....

That's exactly what I'd do :rotfl:

The plasterer has finally turned up :D thank god, DH has been getting steadily grumpier each day he's not been here!

Downside though is that I HATE having people in my house. I've known this guy for about 10 years but I'm still seriously uncomfortable and I really just want to hide. Hopefully he'll be quick and gone by lunchtime so I can lock the doors :o such a wimp :o

    morning all :)
was woken up last night by really sharp stomach pains but only down my right side, took ages to wear off then ages for me to get back to sleep, so one tired and mardy me today.
i'm 38+3 and have a MW appt today,(if i get there, it's hammering down now and forcast it for the rest of the day, i dont like to walk in the rain at the best of times, nevermind when i can hardly walk at all) fingers crossed for me that she has turned and is no longer back to back.
    Skint, but happy (ish):p
