And don't forget that in the first Bounty books, there is a coupon for £1.50 off Newborn starter packs at Asda, and voucher for a free pack of Huggies newborn 27's at Tesco :) x

Got both of those thank you :D

I've bought one packet of size 1's (27 nappies) 3 boxes of size 2's (264 nappies) and 3 packets of size 3's (93 nappies) also have 12 packs of Huggies Pure
Wipes and 6 packs of Johnsons wipes!

Planning on buying more packs of size 1's but been warned by a few people some babies go straight into size 2's

Not sure if this is right or not, it's my first and I have no clue, only bought the majority of those because of the Mothercare glitch. Huggies wipes are £1 at the moment in Boots.

Boots own wipes are nice too, and about 76p a pack all the time!

DD1 was in size 1 for about 5 days but she was huge, twins were in them for ages they were tiny, I think Squeak got through about 3 of the larger packs and she was 7 lb 8oz or thereabouts.

all this talk about nappies is making me feel so inadequate, i've bought a pack to take in the hspital, and a box for home, thats it..........i dont like huggies, i use pampers and i'm thinking i'm gonna need a few more than what i've got :S
    Skint, but happy (ish):p
  • I've got about 80 of each size 1-3 mixture of huggies and pampers, not convinced ill need anymore size one but following pigpens logic i might get more.
In addition to getting crutches today- much to dh's amusement, Im also being referred to the consultant as my bump/baby is huuuge and mw thinks i should be induced at term if not before for the sake of my poor body!

And my legs and feet are sooooo itchy.

Good job today is nearly over!
    Bump due 22nd September

    I have 1 pack of size 1

There wil still be shops when you have had your baby and dad will need to go out.. and there is no reason you cant go either.. I supervised a tesco shop when Squeak was 4 days old

I am so incredibly hot and boiling and utterly miserable.. I dont like men, I dont like parents and I dont like siblings.. children are in bed but I didnt like them either. OHs sister rang to see if we were going this weekend.. he can.. Im not.. that simple! I want my house and my bed and my sofa not them nagging and wheedling and wanting me to walk when I cant.

I didn't like my children today either... they had sugar and boy did it show. Meant we had to stay in, as there's no point taking them out when they're like that :(

I think I'm off to bed in a min, I'm worn out lol.

Mine were just awake.. that was enough to irritate me.

OH is mean and made me cry.. so I felt stupid and got cross.

I had a tantrum and remade the bed on my own.. did he come offer help.. no.. did he heck... was it his fault I was in a grump... of course..

Now I am in more of a grump because I hurt.. and it is HIS fault it is too hot!

AND his sister is demanding we go there at the weekend.. well I am NOT going, he can do as he pleases I dont care.. 2 hours in the car to see people I dont want to see and stay 2 nights in a strange uncomfortable too small bed on the 2 nights I have no children this month... I dont think so! If they want to see Squeak.. well.. they know where we live!

  • Ok, anyone got any other suggestions? I've been awake since 3am with back pain. I am not seeing a physio, and have got exercises to do twice daily. I go back to see her on 31st Aug. I've bought a support band for the bump to take the strain off my back, I've got a pregna-pillo which is uncomfortable, I've taken my 2nd pillow off the bed when sleeping to help straighten out my spine, I've contacted 2 pre natal massage therapists and I'm waiting for them to reply in the hope that massage might loosen up my back muscles. So can anyone think of anything else I can do? Other than take the codeine which doesn't work. Sorry to keep going on about it but it is really getting me down. I am turning into one of those moaning whingy people :(

I thought getting up to wee 5 times a night was a pain, but now if it isn't my back waking me up, it's my aching hips, or cramp in one or both my calves.

Sorry for the moan, I can see today being a grumpy one

Anyway, morning ladies and bumps!! Hope everyone is well?

WW, sorry you're feeling bad. My back's constantly sore as well- maybe a bath or a swim? Even just to float? I've been awake since about 4am, my hips and back are making it hard to sleep longer....
Moan away, I have one of the bouncy balls which helps only a little, and I'm waiting for a belt to arrive to see if it helps any.
