Delain, happy Squeaks Birthday! Silly OH, going out at the wrong time. Honestly blokes sometimes are so dim!

Mancbird. Sorry you are feeling poorly. Its definately better to give them a call and see what they say, otherwise you could be stressing unnecessarily. Hope you are right as rain soon.

I'm feeling quite low this evening and i dont know what to do. Spoke to my mum this afternoon, and she told me she had been for a routine mammogram last Tuesday, and got a letter yesterday telling her to report to XX hospital this Thursday coming for a recall, and to see a doctor, and that she should be prepared to spend the rest of the day there. She was trying to be brave and matter of fact, but i could tell she was worried, and understandably so! I really dont know what to do know, as she lives about 3.5 hrs drive away, as does my sister, and she hasnt really got anyone else who can go with her. She didnt ask me to go, or even hint, but i couldnt bear the idea of her waiting all day alone, and tho' its probably fine, being by herself to hear bad news and having to drive herself an hour home.
My sister is useless in these situations, and just started a new job last week, so isnt really the right person to ask to go, which leaves me- i COULD ask my boss nicely to give me the day off, but the idea of driving 3.5 hours up, another hour to the hospital and potentially the whole way back again, fills me with dread as i just get so tired at the mo. Oooh, i dont know what to do!:(

Doing better than my OH though, he's been snoozing for the past 3 hours!!!

    Thanks girls,

I have rung the hospital and they've told me to come in to get checked. I've managed to get hold of OH and he's on his way home now (he's an hour away) and the hospital is 45 minutes from here. The midwife I spoke to was lovely and told.me not to worry they'd sort me out. Just going to pack some pjs etc in case they keep me in and then get a hot water bottle and wait for OH.

I'll probably feel pretty silly if it turns out to be nothing but the midwife said better to get checked out.

Going in is def the best plan. You might feel a teeny bit silly if its nothing, but you would feel FAR worse if you did nothing, and it turned out to be something! Best safe than sorry. Good luck, and let them look after you!

Anyhow, it's free to a good home, pm me if you're interested xx
