Morning all hope Mancbird is ok this morning. No news from claire yet? Hope she is having mummy cuddles!
Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!
  • Morning all!

Hope everything turned out ok at the hospital Mancbird xx

Must book our hospital visit, I'm not bothered but DH needs time to get used to new environments, especially medical ones. For a gert big bloke he's a proper wuss when it comes to anything doctor-ish. Can't even watch Holby City without fainting. He's gonna be a right help during labour lol!

Still no bl00dy plasterer this morning, it'd better be tomorrow or I'll start throwing things. On the plus side, have got DS home after nearly 3 weeks (the house has been sooooo quiet!) so need to go and get school shoes and jumper sorted for him.

Has anyone tried dying their own hair whilst being very pregnant? My natural blondes are starting to drive me mad but I don't think I could sit in a hairdressers chair for a couple of hours without causing considerable pain. Any tips?

Labour vibes to whoever wants them :) x

ETA - 24th on the list after the boldies

I may not be much help because my hair doesn't colour easily anyway but I found that the dye didn't come out the way I wanted it and then promptly washed out in a week :o

DH didn't really think it was necessary but I think he found it useful and they showed us how to get up to the delivery suite out of hours too - never thought about how to get in if the main doors were closed!

Sorry I missed the news on Mancbird - hope all is well. xx

AND 11th on the list!! Eep!

    xDx

Are you sure? She's 9 and been doing sex ed at school so she's full of *ahem* interesting questions :eek:

I spent the first few weeks of Squeak's life using her buggy as a walking frame lol Physio was very impressed with the way it moved :rotfl:

Having a baby is fine, it all comes to you when they're here. If it doesn't there are lots of folks here you can ask :D

Haha - I don't mind answering the questions, they may not be factually correct though!
I have asked if I can use the chassis bit of our buggy now but apparently not! (Meanie OH)
Thanks, I really hope so, whoever designed pregnancy to be 9 months was wrong... Far too long to whittle!

    Rang those agents yet??
    Bump due 22nd September

Winnie I did that about 5 years ago :rotfl: honestly I look like such a dog's dinner :o can't wait to shift some of this blubber when baby gets here.

I've tried to call a couple of times so far and just got a machine. But then that was at 9.20 and 9.04 so maybe they were all having a coffee and trying to wake up :o

I can't cope with this. I had an email and thought 'ooh it might be them' and it was just amazon trying to sell me meerkat manor on DVD :o can't even buy that because we're a bit broke and it would probably make me cry anyway. Pah.

Morning!! Well I'm clearly still here. No signs whatsoever over the weekend. MIL feeling sorry for me so taking me to John Lewis for a coffee and cake this afternoon. I have never eaten so much cake in my life until maternity leave but I'm past caring. Perhaps if I eat more, there will be no room for baby and he'll have to come out :rotfl:

    Hope Mancbird's Ok this morning.

Happy Due Date Laura!! Hope you don't have to wait long (its really boring!)
Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T
