Hugs Bella. I'm not an overly emotional person- DH tells me off occasionally as I just don't see why I need to be- he says I'm too analytical. DSD will have fallen and DH will be comforting her, while I'll be saying 'Now just why did you think that would possibly work?'

He had a good laugh at me yestarday sitting in our new nursery with the newly painted walls with a few tears going 'But it looks so NICE!' Plus, I've been a bit harsh or bitey at times, it's with the territory.

I can't cope with this. I had an email and thought 'ooh it might be them' and it was just amazon trying to sell me meerkat manor on DVD :o can't even buy that because we're a bit broke and it would probably make me cry anyway. Pah.

Try to keep your chin up hun, your hormones are running riot and you sound really tired in your posts. When OH gets home later, chuck the kids at him and take a big bar of chocolate in the bath - have a bit of me time. Bigs hugs, and fingers crossed you hear from the agents soon :) xxx

    Thanks :)

OH is being quite good :) when we made up he was going through the things I had said and they sounded sooooooo silly lmao, but when I was saying them they seemed very reasonable!

    Morning ladies and bumps,

Ok, getting slightly scared now, i'm 7th on the list!

Just had a quick look at the hospital online tour and it looks good, i've copied the link for anyone who is interested in taking a peak and would be grateful for anyone's opinions of how it compares to their local hospital. They no longer do personal tours of the unit due to the length of time it means having nurses off the ward, but the online tour seems quite good from what i can tell.

Had a right ol' night of it last night, pains like a cross between period pains and the tummy ache you get when you have diawoowoo

Started about 2am and went on for half an hour or so, then started again at about 6am for another half an hour. Braxton hicks?

I've never really known anyone who is pregnant so don't have a huge number of people to ask about it and am not seeing the midwife until Wednesday, she wants me to take my birth plan with me and if i get it typed up then i might post it just to check i've covered the right things:)

Got the plasterer in today and to be honest could do without it but hubby booked it and the stairs need doing asap, so had better just smile and get on with it i suppose. My swollen ankles seem to have gone down after spending all night sleeping with my feet on a few pillows and that seems to have worked:)
  • Very jealous of those of you who have the plasterers in. Very. Can't even remember how long I've been waiting!

War and Peace is remarkably dull second time around.

To those feeling really emotional, just to let you know it doesn't last forever! I managed not to cry at the baby clothes on the line yesterday (which would have set me off a couple of weeks ago) and I watched the last episode of Friends without blubbing yesterday (which even the non-pregnant me usually struggles with lol!) I'm also less miserable now, DH even noticed I was being more rational yesterday. Finally! I'm still pretty angry though....at nothing in particular...

Ecoelle - my BH's don't feel like you describe, they're more, erm, tight than painful. They completely knock the breath out of me though, almost like someone is squeezing my ribcage really hard. Maybe give your MW a bell if you're worried :)

Thanks Winnie :) I am worn out all the time it seems.

I caved in and left them a message :o I'll be annoyed if they don't get back to me.

My BH's (can't believe I'm getting them already!) are just tight feelings, they don;t hurt either.

He's a friend of someone from my husbands work and think he took pity on the heavily pregnant lady in need of work doing before baby comes! Maybe we were just lucky though.

Don't know then, maybe it was just baby stretching about or something. I'm not concerned, squid is happily wriggling around as usual so i'm sure everything is fine.

    Morning everyone,

Thank you all so much for your support. I'm fine, hospital thinks I have either been over doing things or have food poisoning. Baby is definitely NOT on his way just yet! Been sent hold with paracetamol and told to rest.

Got there at about 10pm and was strapped up to a monitor to check for contractions and baby's heartbeat. The monitor showed Flump's heartbeat was fine and there were some small irregular contractions so I had to have an internal exam to check if I was actually going into labour or not :(

I was dreading the internal but it wasn't too bad except the midwife forgot something and walked out of the room leaving me lying on the bed with all my lady bits showing! No curtain round the bed or anything...not good :(

Anyway the midwife decided there was a small risk of labour so said I could either stay in or go home so I opted to come hone and we got back about 2.30 this morning and I have only just woken up now! Didn't mean to worry anyone :(

I did get told off by the midwife because my iron levels were low. I have been given iron tablets by my own midwife but when I became constipated she told me to cut the dose. The midwife I saw last night said I must take the full dose as my iron levels will get lower from this point in pregnancy and if they get lower than they are now I can't give birth at the midwife led unit, it would have to be the consultant ward so making sure I take all my tablets now!!! She also said I needed to try and eat more because I have ketones in my urine. I told her about the sickness etc and she was very nice and said she didn't care what I ate as long as I ate more and kept it down so now I've got to try and eat mote too.

I still have the pains this morning and am feeling a bit carpy but at least I know its nothing serious :) my lovely OH is off today and has told me I am to rest and not do ANYTHING so quiet day planned for me today.

Oh, midwife also said Flump is breech. She said it was a bit unusual at this point? But she didn't seem overly concerned and said if he was still breech after my 36 week scan then they'd look at getting him to move. Has anyone else had this?

    Sorry for the epic post!

Lol Delain- when Doc looked at me on Sat night with cramping every few seconds, she said initially it could be early Braxton hicks (At 25 weeks?). DH went into a mild panic as he thought she meant contractions..... We were bad to him and kept quiet for a few seconds. :)

Glad you're okay Manc.... I had food poisoning at the weekend... Rest plenty and let everyone else do everything for you!

I had a rummage in a box in my boudoir... and FINALLY found the pair of black trousers I have been looking for for about 3 months.. and even better.. I found a brand new maternity top... :D

I have also woke up with thrush so OH is being banished to the chemist shortly.. hell love that :p He has ebay stuff to post and needs to run to Argos too so he can take his noisy friend with him

Looks lilke I have the children 24/7 for ANOTHER week as KH, living up to his name is refusing to see them.. DD4 will be pleased.. not... though none of the older ones ever want to go so they will really be pleased.. When do I get time off????????

Once this baby arrives I am going to sort a contact order I think.. if he wont have them when he said he wants them he will have them on my terms.. and that means 2 FULL weeks during the summer holidays, 1 week at easter and 1 at christmas... I WILL get time off!

I have coats to list on ebeast.. I found 3 brand new coats in my bedding cupboard of all places.. age 11-12..
