    Good morning ladies and bumps!!

Viability Day today - we are officially 24 weeks pg :D

    Happy Viability Day :D

Can I swap with you please? :rotfl:Cant believe I only have 6 weeks to go, I feel so disorganised! I wish I could start this whole pregnancy all over again then I would have everything done by now and would have saved loads of money to ease cash flow when baby is here :o

Can you tell i'm having a panicky (is that even a word?) day today?!

We have our house up for sale, zero interest.... No real issue, we'd just have liked more room.... A garden maybe!

Had a small trip to hosp last night, as I was getting bad stomach cramps..... Doc thought it was mild food poisoning. Gave me paracetamol and basically told me to come back in if it got worse. Still cramping mildly now, but it's almost gone I think.....

Sorry silly mare, hiya- didn't see your post!
  • I'm so bored on being on maternity leave and stuck at home all day I've started reading War and Peace. For the second time.

    Happy V Day Womble :D

Try not to panic Flower! Just think as long as bubs has some clothes, a car seat and somewhere to sleep he'll be fine! Anything else you can grab as and when you need it. Midnight runs to Tesco are what OH's are for after all :rotfl:

Fingers crossed for a positive response on the house Delain!

Sciatica sounds about as fun as SPD Bella :( hope you get some rest today :)

    Hi Silly Mare!

Hope you feel better soon Lirin!

PP - hows things kidney wise today?

Sorry if I've missed anyone, I've had to type this four times because of something DH has decided has to be done to our wireless. Men.

I hurt and I am SSOOOOOOOOOO hot!!!!!!!!!!

My left kidney appears to have stopped having the stabbing twinges it as doing yesterday but.. they are both very very sore and swollen today.. they can be felt quite easily through my blubber and are sore. :(

I can still wee so things arent too bad just yet .. see... a positive note!

Baby is currently rattling its head about in my pelvis like a pea in a pan..

My hips are so incredibly painful so I have drugged them.. and I am still hot (37.5C) so we shall see how today progresses..

I have sorted Squeaks chest of drawers and put away all the stuff that fits and half filled a charity shop bag with stuff that doesnt .. she has loads of stuff still so no spending to do there :D

I sorted a box of 0-3 month stuff and found some more newborn stuff to wash.. I have a box I need lifting down which has all the crib bedding in and a full pack of size 2 nappies I espied :D

I need to do some more flinging in my room so we can lower the cot mattress and I can wash the crib and get it ready for its new inhabitant.

  • Hey all, have worked my way through the less than 12 weeks club, and the 12-24 and now I find myself here, blimey time is flying! Am 24+2 at the moment, and not feeling especially organised. The 'nursery' is still a junk room although we did buy some loft flooring yesterday to help increase the storage, just need to give OH a prod to get it sorted now! Have been raiding the car boots over the last couple of months and the Primarni sale as well as Ebay for washable nappies so have got a pretty good collection of little pink clothes in preparation.

Would like to have everything sorted with hospital bag ready for 34 weeks, so not too long to go, eek!

my landing is the dumping ground.. I am currently trying to dig my way through that and a bedroom and the cupboard under the stairs is next on my project list...

    Off to do ebay pics!

I have sorted ALL the baby clothes up to 12-18 months though into individual boxes so things are starting to resemble order.. :D

I dug out all the crib bedding I now need to get OH to get his crap out of the crib so I can wash the covers and get it all set up for baby. In fact.. he can get all of his side of the bed sorted it is a tip!

Off for food, then I am sewing up the 2 cardies I have knitted and they can go in the wash with the baby bedding.. I found the 4th fitted sheet :D!

Oh.. I made a start on hospital bags as well.. I added towes to the ba with my slippers and pads in.. see.. I started!

  • Our nursery is the dumping ground too! It's a titchy room, only 6' x 9' but it is filled to the rafters and I still need to gloss the skirting boards and buy and lay a carpet. But before that we have to get the plasterer to actually turn up to board and skim the ceiling in our bedroom and then decorate that room so we can move out of the living room and move the contents of the nursery back downstairs where it belongs! Chaos is a relative term in my house ATM...

I must get slippers for hospital. I don't have a bag available until we can put our wardrobe back together and empty the holdall so I have a hospital pile :D

33 weeks tomorrow.....still got loads of time :S

That is what I thought then had DS3 at 31 weeks, DS2 at 32 weeks, DD2, DD4 at 34 weeks, DD3 and DD5 at 35 weeks... it all suddenly seems VERY imminent this baby thing!
