Ok... sorry about this if its TMI, and/or if its a silly question!

Just noticed some strange little white spots scattered on the top of both my nipples (Dont ask why i was looking!).
Never noticed them ever before. They arent sore or itchy or weepy at all.
I gently used a little fingernail on one to see what happened, and it came away without pain, and it was a little hard white grain.

Any ideas? Is it normal? Has anyone else has this?

I've been told to avoid sitting in a reclined position (eg tilted back in car, slouching back on sofa) to avoid going back to back. Lots of sitting up straight or leaning forward. Spending time on all fours, leaning over a beanbag or gym ball and crawling about on hands and knees are all supposed to help.

horrible i am i know but any chance you can do a fly on the wall documentary for us, just for laughs of course.

on a serious note i hope it does help. x

It'd be like something from Just for laughs. Our floors are rock hard, my feet, ankles and calves look like they've come from an elephant and my hands and wrists can't bear much weight because they keep going numb/tingly. But if the midwife says we're back to back at my 36 week appointment this week then I'll be trying them all and sending you all updates :D

On an encouraging note, a friends baby turned from back to back during labour and my SIL successfully labored and delivered her back to back baby with only gas and air.

I think that the montgomery glands are just round the areola, not on the nipples themselves.
