Just got back from the 23 week heart echocardiagram and our baby passed with flying colours, no issues shown or found by the top level consultant at our hospital.

In terms of growth baby was has the following measurements:

BPD = 59.0 (think was around 70% percentile)
    HC= 211 (was at 50% percentile)
AC=197 (was at around 95%+ percentile... fat baby lol)
FL=40.6 (was just above 50% percentile)

Est fetal weight = 644g (Weight of a 25 week baby... big baby lol!)

Does anyone know where i can get a good hadlock calculator as i'd like to combine the aboive measurements to work out an estimated due date. to see how far ahead baby is i.e. few days etc.

Baby was amasing as well as while consultant was looking at his hand he raised one finger up..

Consultant said 'ooooh look he looks like he is going to pick his nose'

And then baby raises his second finger up. in a V shape as in to say F off lol :).

I think baby has had enough of prodding at :

Hi everyone, i posted on the 12-24 as well yesterday, but thought maybe one of you ladies over here might have a view (esp the ones with previous experience of little boys scans!)
So, i posted on 12-24 at the weekend that bean hadnt been very co-operative during the scan when we wanted see what team we were on. I transfered the other pics to the pc last night, which meant i could get the images a bit bigger. When i zoomed in on one, i suddenly saw something that i thought might just be little boy bits, but dont know if its just me! I know the piccy is a bit wibbly and bumpy, but thought i would see what any of you ladies made of it! I've drawn a little box around the area where i think i see something.... Any thoughts?6002540104_6eb9b37005.jpg

Well it looks like a winkie to me, but I've got girls and never had a 3D scan, so I'm probably not the person to ask :)

I've been fortunate (so far), and not had the dreaded constipation, nor the bottom gas problem. On the downside, i have had the runs (sorry tmi) more often than not, and i'm burping like a trooper day in day out!

    Hi ladies,

Hope you are well and not too farty!!!!

Wonder womble and neas - lots of hugs to you both. Your courage and strength is very inspiring xxx

I'm after a bit of advice if possible. As some of you already know, I am suffering from hyperemesis and am currently signed off from work. My sick note runs out today and I am due back in work tomorrow. However, I am still not well and don't seem to be getting any better :( My doctor has said he will keep renewing my sick note if I am still not up to work.

Whilst I am off sick I am on half pay and this is having a financial impact on our household :( I have arranged for my maternity leave to begin on September 10th (at36 weeks pregnant) and have 8 days holidays left for 2011 which I think work want me to take before hand.

What I want to know is do you think it is possible for me to ask work to bring my maternity leave forward so I am not on sick leave? It would be about 2 or 3 weeks earlier than I planned but I really don't feel I can carry on with work the way that I am feeling.

My lovely OH has said I shouldn't go back yet as I am clearly not well enough (tmi alert, but I have spent all morning retching in the bathroom and have also had diawoowoo :( ) but I am just so stressed about the money situation. We have been trying to save throughout my pregnancy but hadn't budgeted for how ill I have been and the resulting loss in income (I have been on ssp and half pay).

Sorry to ramble on about this, just need advice...

P.s. huge labour vibes to abbey and sequeena xxx
