Congrats supermaiden, glad you're both home safely.

Apricot - thank you. I have that list but I'm ultra pathetic at the mo and need it broken down into separate bag list!! Oh dear lol!

Perhaps once I finish work next week I might feel more capable, just hope this little lad will give me enough time to get organised!

supermaiden.. congratulations.. glad he arrived safely. Get him booked in for cranial osteopathy!.. Seriously.. angry baby usually means he is unhappy about something it WILL help.. He has had a very traumatic experience.. Tiddles was an angry little thing, she had other issues too.. but it helped hugely with her.. I can't recommend it highly enough, and I was extremely sceptical.

I have cankles..

I want a shower and can't get my leg over the side of the bath and OH hates me.. I am sure of it...

bed time for the water works queen I think.

Congratulations Supermaiden, glad your finally home. :T

OMG i'm 3rd on the list after the boldies. :j

Got an appointment with the midwife today which is ironically my original due date so fingers crossed things start moving as i'd rather go into labour naturally than be induced.

If not i've got an internal next Thursday 21st before I get admitted on Saturday 23rd for my Induction on 24th.

I'm having lots of aches & shooting pains up my you know what and finding it increasingly difficult to sit down comfortably or walk.

Labour vibes to everyone who wants them including me.

Fingers crossed your little guy gets moving naturally BCS but at least you have an end date in sight as back up.

Did I miss further news from Anderson or has there been no update yet? I hope her and her little one are safe and healthy and she's enjoying mummy cuddles.

The list is suddenly shooting forward. 13th after boldies for me!

Does anyone the realistic stats about whether first babies tend to be early or late?

Still waiting for a decent nights sleep, really could do with one as im too tired to DTD with OH and he is feeling left out and a bit rejected, think i just need to 'take one for the team' later no matter how tired i am

School run, swimming, housework and then a facial for me today, am really looking forward to the facial as i haven't had one since i was 16 weeks - will be bliss

Re: hospital bag i wouldn't take loads as most ladies are discharged within 24 hours BUT i would defo pack a 'back up' bag at home incase you end up with a c-section - i was in hospital for a week in total 3 days being induced, then had EMCS so was kept in 4 days after that and had to rely on OH to bring in more clothes for myself and baby which was interesting!!:rotfl: no knickers, no bras etc so this time im taking in hosp bag for me, bag for baby and leaving a bag with more stuff at home just incase!!

Morning all

I really wouldnt panic about separate bags for everything just put it all in one bag! as long as you have nighties, underwear, pads, towel, toiletries for yourself and for LO vests/sleepsuits, hat, mits, nappies, bibs/muslin. oh, camera and change I think everything else you can live without or they will have for you to use. Maybe i'm just very laid back haha

Well dining room is finished, OH is back at work today so his friend is coming to finish my living room just the paintwork to do in there its looking lovely! I ordered a new sideboard and coffee table last night, tried to order a new settee they said it wouldnt be delivered for 11 weeks!!! i told them I'm having a baby in 10 so will have to leave it gonna go have a look tonight went to a shop at weekend where they had some cancelled orders in which you could have asap and they where a little cheaper too

congrats to supermaiden! and labour vibes to everyone who needs or wants them!

Doc has given me a sick note for 4 weeks and i'm due on maternity leave in 3 so thats it no more work for me yeahhhhhh

hi all! I'm new to this thread and due Dec 1st!

I have my 20 wk scan tomorrow and really excited to find out the gender!!!

I have a question, has anyone done the NCT antenatal classes rather than the free NHS ones, and are they worth the money?

Morning-

Hiya to all the newcomers, I know there's two or three.

Supermaiden, congrats, sounds as if it was difficult, but you've got there in the end....

Pigpen and others feeling rubbish- can empathise. You're allowed to shout and scream- I've told my boss I'm keeping the emotional bit for 27 weeks, then I'll officially turn into a basketcase. I've felt as if I'm floating on cloud 9, then some minor thing will have me getting emotional- DH was worried the other night as I was in tears telling him our new BBQ looked so pretty in the yard, and the blue gate we built was so nice- and I keep starting things and getting very lacksidasical halfway through. I've never been as emotional in my life- and being honest, I can see why. It's tiring trying to work out why I'm upset umpteen times a day.

Hosital bags? I never thought of two. I pack light anyway, and with the exception of baby stuff (haven't bought anything yet), I've mine packed, and DH has instructions.... I printed off the list on here, and packed a few weeks ago (scarily organised lately, that's also a new one). I'll possibly be the only person there in a gold Chinese-printed silky dressing gown and diamante flipflops, but everyone's been telling me NOT to pack a big wooly gown and slippers as the wards are always sweltering....
