Nintendo Wii with Sports Resort and 3 free games:

    Big Family Games
    Cars: Race O Rama
    Super Smash Bros Brawl

    £179
If these are the sorts of games you want then this is a great deal. If not then have a look at Amazon where you get some choice of what free games you get.

I got the Amazon deal for my wife's birthday yesterday. But she went into labour and gave birth on Friday, so we haven't been able to play it yet!!

Quite a steal when you think this was selling for £180 and up a couple of weeks back...
  • Hi all

I wondered if anyone could give me some advice?
It's my husband's birthday coming up in a couple of weeks and I'd like to get him a wii. The problem is what the heck should I buy?

I want him to be able to play sporty games (golf, football that kind of thing) with another person.

So what games should I get and do I need to buy an extra handheld thingy?

    Quite fancy wii fit also..

Basically I'd be really grateful if someone could suggest a shopping list of everything I would need to buy including console, accessories and games because I have absolutely no idea as I'm sure you've been able to tell from the above!

I don't have a huge budget so I'm thinking that perhaps the wii fit could be bought for Christmas if it all starts being too expensive.

If I bought the wii deal from sainsburys that's just been posted what else would I need to buy?

    Thanks

    Cxx

OK so this slightly repeats some things already but I don't know how long this will last.

The best Wii console & Wii fit bundle is on PLAY.COM at £219.00, however I have just snapped the same package for £193.00 with FREE postage! :money:

    This is how:

Sainsbury's Wii console currently 20% off - £135.99 with free next day delivery!

Carphone Warehouse Wii fit + balance board - £56.99 with free postage!

    TOTAL VALUE £193.00!!!!

I was chuffed enough with this :)

    ...AND DON'T FORGET CASHBACK!

I was looking at this on line, does it definitely have the wii sports? The listing only mentions sports resort. I don't have a sainsbury nearby.

Yes, it is listed in the product features. If it is like the package I got from Argos there will be the wii and sports game (in a cardboard sleeve) in one box which is in a larger box that has Sports Resorts in.

OK, went for the sainsbury's deal - no brainer really as I had 2 £5 vouchers from the half price toys offer :) Now, where/how best to get hold of other bits and what do I need - which games actually use the nunchuck?
