You might be right - and it's a good deal if so, it's just there's not much detail on Amazon about what's in it and if you look at the box picture it just shows the one controller...0 -
My hope is that it's similar to the one they're selling on its own for £139.99 - there's no mention of the nunchuck other than the third picture showing it.0

I plan on buying a WII for the family for christmas , I'm probably the only person in the world who knows only a little about it so am clueless about what the best deal is to go for. Money is very tight but I've been squirreling money away all year so I can buy this. Ideally I'd like to include the wii fit in it but would be grateful for any suggestions. I hope to have a max of £200 to spend.
Thanks in advance x0 -
I don't think you'll get the Wii Fit in a package for £200.
Have a look on this and the previous page of this thread for recent deals.
No single best deal - just depends what you want. Personally the Amazon deal suited me, but if they're not the games you want then there's better options out there...0 -
Thanks Jimmy , I did have a look at the previous posts but got even more confused
. I'll keep looking lol

I'm no expert, but have been through the thought process having just ordered one for my wife's birthday.
I think your choices are...
(a) Try and find a package with Wii Fit within your budget.
(b) Increase your budget to get a package with Wii Fit.
(c) Accept that you won't be getting Wii Fit right now and find the best package without it.
If you decide on (c) then post what sort of things you are after and I may be able to help.0 -

Seashell - you can get the basic WII package for £139.99 and the wii fit seperately for £59.99 - both from Amazon - so you're laughing all the way to the bank with 2p change!!
Just a thought though - if you're going to want extra games paying the extra £40 for the Wii Sports package plus 2 extra games deal might be more economical. Also don't forget that the Wii is backwards compatible, meaning you can play old Gamecube games on it - you can pick these up really cheaply on ebay etc.0 -
Thanks to you both for your replies. I think I'll probably leave the Wii fit (it was just an afterthought really as something I might use) and concentrate on getting something the family can enjoy. I have a 17 yr old son , a 4yr old daughter and a husband who have all used it before with friends. I know they like sporty type games. I'd want to get something with everything in it so on Christmas day no one is complaining because they can't use it:p,
I have been googling as well as checking out the deals I've seen on here but I have no idea what the deals are about . I promise I'm normally an intelligent woman but when it comes to this I'm totally lost0 -
I'd suggest you go for the Amazon deal, then.
You get Wii Sports (they all come with this), Sports Resort (most come with this) and a (limited) choice of two other games. Should be enough there to suit everyone.
The only downside, imo, is that you only get the one controller (presumably plus nunchuck). You may want to get Wii Play (which comes with a controller) as well as this deal.0
