  • Apparently you can get a Nintendo wii, sports, wii resort and motion plus for £159.99 [insore only] at Sainsbury's.

Not seen any other deals which include the wii fit though.

So, does anyone know any good deals with two controllers in the package? Or a good price for a second contoller?

Basically hat I want is as follows...
Wii console (including one controller and nunchuck and Wii Sports)
    Second controller
Wii Fit (want this at Christmas, but can put it away until then if the package is good value with it)
One or two other games, preferably child friendly - i.e. 3+ age bracket.

Liked the look of the deal in Tescos at the weekend (can't remember details but it included a Sims game) but was only with the one controller.

    Any suggestions?
  • The best way to get an extra controller is to buy the Wii Play game, it comes with a controller and starts at about £26.99 if you shop around!! Not bad considering the controller on its own is about £22ish!

    Please can someone advice me.
I have seen the offer posted and searched for a good deal.

Toys r us - has Wii fit (which I think I really want) +console and wii sports

Argos has Wii sports and free mega set for £179 and I can buy wii fit separately.
(Free mega accessory pack (568/4108) when you buy the Wii console with sports resort (923/9418) to receive offer add both items to your trolley. Offer ends 13th October 2009.)

It seems more complicated than simply doing the sums. Which accessories are really needed? It will be a shame to make the wrong choice.

I have two boys aged 8 and 16.
I will be most grateful for any advice as the Argos offer ends tomorrow.
    Thanks in advance.
  • I too have been looking around the best deal I have found is at Game for £179.99 you get console, wii sports, sports resort, mario strikers and toy story mania!! I wanted a wii fit as well but the bundles with them aren't so good(not so many games- i am particulary after sports resort and toy story!) so if I buy this package then get a wii fit on it's own it works out a good deal for me Look at the price comparison site I found it lists all deals and whether in stock or not.
    www.compareconsoleprices.co.uk/nintendo_wii_bundles (Hope that works!!)
They also do comparisons for wii fit and bundles with wii fit in Worth a look and don't forget to go through a cash back site if you can!
Thanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.

Thanks. The compare console site is very helpful. I think we should go that route. I note that there is going to be a Wii fit plus soon anyway. Happy wii-ing!
