I hope they are not replacing the Wii fit board as well, would just be a con to get you to buy a new one.

Only had mine since January.

  • Thanks fag_ash_lill. I was looking everywhere for a link to it. Ile have to decide now which one. Maybe the original one will fall in price or the new one will have better features worth paying for. Who knows, we shall see.

After scowering the internet i have found out that the original wii fit board will not be replaced, the wii fit plus has the same board. No prices as of yet. So i may just but the wii consul + wii sports + wii fit and buy the new wii fit plus disc in October/November when released. I dont really want to wait for the new wii fit plus game if its only a new game as i havnt got a consul yet.

After my earlier post looking for a good deal on WII bundle, i am happy to say i am pleased with the offer i found at Smyths Toys

    WII Console (with WII Sport)
    WII Play (Includes WII Remote)
Any game of choice i went for Mario Kart (Includes Wheel)
    Extra Nunchuck
    WII Mega Accessory Pack
2 x £5.00 Vouchers (Which i used to buy a couple of the cheaper games)

    All for £229.99

This is the link to show it although it doesn't mention the vouchers, they must be an instore offer at the moment.

What's the deal with getting a Wii at the moment? Have the shops got them in stock or is it still a nightmare.
Looking to get one in the next month or so. Don't know loads about them, but would want as a minimum: Nintendo Wii console, 2 controllers, Wii Sports.
Then probably looking at getting Wii Fit in time for Christmas.

So, any suggestions on what package we should go for? And where from?
Would rather buy from a shop. Failing that from a reputable website. Not interested in eBay and the likes for this.
We've got small children, so packages with kids games rather than violent games would be welcome.

Looking (obviously) to spend as little as possible, but if there's value to be had by spending a bit more then would be interested.

    Thanks,
    Jim

    No-one got any suggestions?
Am I going to have to do the leg-work myself? ;)
  • Watching this post with interest as also planning to buy one soon the only difference is I know absolutely nothing about them :rotfl:. My five year old has a better idea but I'm not sure he wants to point Father Christmas in the right direction.

At the moment I had spotted an offer at Argos but I'm not sure if its a good deal. whats the difference between a nunchuck and a remote and do I need both?
